Dr. Clare Gordon, BAppSc(ClinSc), BOsteoSc, M.A.O.A
Dr. Clare Gordon is a fully qualified, registered Osteopath who graduated from RMIT University with honours. Since then, Clare has worked overseas as an Osteopath in a variety of clinics in Ireland, USA and Italy and has been back in Melbourne now for a few years working in a multi-disciplinary clinic. She is a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association and is currently the Vice President of the Victorian branch.
Clare’s main focus is on women’s health and her primary interest is treating pregnant women, pre and post-natal, as well as children and babies. She has a passion for helping women through their journey of pregnancy as well as empowering and encouraging women to understand what their body is truly capable of.
Clare has done extensive post-graduate training in cranio-sacral work, including paediatric training, and osteopathic courses in obstetrics and gaenacology. She has also attended numerous birth courses, including calm birth training. In addition to her Osteopathic qualifications, Clare is also qualified in Neuro-Structural Integration Technique (NST), an advanced form of Bowen Therapy.

Osteopathic treatments are excellent in preparing the body for labour. By decreasing tension throughout the body and balancing the pelvis it allows the nervous and endocrine (hormone) systems to function at their best. By doing so, this encourages the body to be in the best possible position of alignment before giving birth.
