I birthed public, with a mw and an
ob present (the
ob due to complications in early labour). There was no excessive force used. I remember the mw grabbing my hand to touch the babies head (I still tear up thinking about it... *sniff*... 'scuse me). And that was in an emergency situation (the
ob had already called the theatre to expect me in the next five minutes for an emergency c-sect), where they were trying to get the baby out as quick as possible.
