Question Itti Bitti Questions before I buy....

I've checked the site today, and I already have some of thier boosters I bought on sale a while ago, and use in my other pocket nappies.

But I have no itti bitti nappies....

Am I right in assuming they aren't a pocket nappy, and the boosters sit against bubs butt??

So you can only use their own snap in boosters in it??

And how clean do you get your boosters?? They must get wee'd and poo'd on a lot....

The all in one sounds ok, but again the booster sits against bub, not the nappy... So you would need a large stash of itti boosters??

    TIA.....

The boosters come up beautifully! Especially after a good sunning.

I have a couple of extra booster sets to change over if the cover isn't wet or soiled.

You could use a different booster with the cover as long as it's the right size or you might get leakage.

itti bitti brand makes two style of MCN

**fitted nappy (needs a cover) - like the boos

**all in one (no cover needed) like the d'lish
    these come in either
SEWN IN (all absorbent material is underneath the inner)
    or
SNAP IN boosters (the absorbent material is sitting inside, on top of the inner. it's two pieces, a snap in trifold, and a snap in booster.)

itti bitti do not make pocket nappies.

nappies get pooped in all the time
the uppermost booster in the itti, is topped with a staydry synthetic fabric - either microfleece or suedecloth.

as soon as we take the poopy nappy off, we Little squirt the poop off, so then only a sodden nappy gets to sit in the dry pail bucket. if the poop was left on it, i'm sure it would stain terribly, but the LS gets it off immed.

a large part of how the nappies look, is up to how you look after them.

i can't stand stained nappies. ew.

it's possible to have the nappies looking nice, after being pooped in MANY times.

with the little squirt and our washing machine, it doesn't seem hard work to me. i feel like with the right equipment, i can do it. No doubt other people manage without the LS, but i am very reliant on it. we're all different.

Pockets need inserts (no topper of microfleece)
Aio, Ai2 and fitteds use boosters (topper of microfleece)

What other sorts of boosters could I use?? That are ok for against bubs butt??

I have sooo many, and dont wanna have to re buy the special ones at itti bitti when I have so many.....

I think I have 4 mini and 4 bamboo snap in boosters atm that are itti bitti....They actually seem really small though... the mini is the shaped one?? The bamboo one seems too small when folded, and would hang out the side if it wasn't??

I sun all my nappies and boosters so cleaning should be fine then ....

I really want some while they are on sale, and everyone loves them, but I'm not sure I like them....

Yep your right the booster sits against the bubs butt lol. I have the itti bitti d'lish with the snap ins and they come up fine after they have had a bit of time in the sun. I find these dry a lot quicker than the sewn in nappies that I have (different brand though) I don't have a large stash of boosters just the ones that came in the nappies originally and we do fine with just those even with two poo bottoms in our household!!

wouldnt you be able to use any booster as long as it fits inside the nappy? It doesnt have to snap it it can just sit there on top - thats what I remember doing with boosters for DS, I never just had the specific brand for the nappy.
So long as its all contained inside the AIO/2 or the cover, you shouldnt get wicking

    Thanks Rayray...

I was more worried about what materials I was putting against his little tush....I have massive amount of microfibre ones, and a heap of bamboo's and didn't know if they can go straight against his butt....

I looked again and I think the sewn in one would be the same idea as a Bubblebubs?? I have 2 for Za and he loves them...

I love itti bittis. My favourite are the d'lish sewn in. I have a couple snap ins, but I personally don't like them much.
Like the others have said, it takes no time at all to get stains out. They're probably the easiest nappies to get stains out of.

The bamboo one seems too small when folded, and would hang out the side if it wasn't??
That's why they're "itti bitti" The smallness of them is part of the reason they are so popular.

Get a couple of them while they are such a good deal, but not too many if you're not sure JIC. They always seem to have good specials on lately (or a few seconds) so if you decide to get more later I'm sure you will still get a good price.

    Hehehe, thanks Raven!!!

I think I'll grab some sewn ins, as Ad likes to use those on the kids, and we really like our Bubblebubs.....
Might grab one snap in too, since I have some boosters already!!!
