Due in late April? Willing to talk to a Midwifery Student about your experiences?
Hi all you lovely pregnant women out there!
I'm finishing the last few months of my Midwifery Degree in Melbourne and I'm desperately searching for women who are due around the end of April who are willing to catch up and talk with a student about their pregnancy and birth experiences.
The "Follow Through Journey Program" is part of the ACU and Nurses Board of Victoria requirements for midwives in training. It is designed to provide the opportunity for students and women to link together, create a supportive environment and provide space for continuity.
Because each woman's experience of pregnancy is different, the Follow Through Program is very flexible and is designed to suit each person. Linking up with a student can involve simply catching up for a cuppa and a chat a few times over your pregnancy and afterward, or students can be there as a more active support at your appointments if that's what a you're looking for.
As students we learn so much from simply hearing about your experiences. We can't complete our training without your input.
So if you are due around the end of April, live in Melbourne or out the eastern side of Melbourne, and are simply willing to talk about you and your baby, let me know.
If you can help or want to know more, please message me.
Thanks all!
