Hi Matilda,
Sorry to hear you have had a few unsuccessful attempts. I tested + for MTHFR which also falls under the thrombophilla blood clotting disorders. I found this out just before my 6th ET.
My treatment was with mega dose folate, B6, B12, low dose aspirin and my FS recommended Clexane from ET. I did an FET a week later, too early perhaps, it was a BFN. 2 months later I started an antagonist cycle however under stimmed, it was converted to IUI, I had a low hcg level of 9 on BT day, though classified as a chemical pregnancy it was my first ever. I only sneakily did Clexane every second day from O day (as my FS had not prescribed for an IUI cycle).
A month later I did another antagonist cycle, I did Clexane from the night of EPU, I got a BFP, fingers crossed, it looks like twins. This was my 7th ET.
I did try the Colorado Protocol early Jan which included Prednisone, and stayed on Prednisone on a low dose since then, while not cycling at 6.25mg per day (quarter tablet) just in case of NK Cells (though tested neg on BT, I never did a biopsy but my FS was happy for me to continue).
Make sure that your implantation failure blood tests are complete, I initially had one missing which I later tested + for. Also tested thyroid levels, TSH, T3 and T4, they were a little off so took thyroid support.
This is what I did this cycle:
Low dose aspirin, mega folate, B6 and B9 for MTHFR
Clexane from night of EPU (my thought was that by a Day 5 ET, it was a little too late).
Prednisone - I had 25mg tablets, CD1 to trigger quarter tablet (6.25mg), from trigger for 5 days (full tablet 25mg), then from there half tablet (12.5mg - in previous cycles I had dropped back to 6.25mg) - I had been on Prednisone since Jan 09.
I did assisted hatching for the first time, I had previously never had a hatching blastie.
This was the only cycle that I did NOT use Embryo Glue
This was the only cycle that I did NOT do acupuncture the day of ET, I had 1 treatment the afternoon of the day after (weekly treatments in the lead up).
I stopped taking Sharkey's herbs in Feb 09 after being on them for two years.
And the only cycle I had no caffeine at all from from CD1
Are you also on low dose aspirin as well as the Clexane?
I hope this helps some, I know how frustrating it is, however please keep in mind that the majority of women have success after 3-4 transfers with out having anything wrong or any issues, so it may still be a numbers game for you. I wish you all the best. xx
