Mum2, so glad you have come to a decision that you're happy with, and have the support of the social worker and
ob! That's a great start, but just remember that you will need to keep advocating for yourself and asking for your own needs to be met throughout your hospital experience. This might include writing a
c/s birth plan to include skin to skin contact and/or breastfeeding in theatre and recovery. Keep asking for what you need and don't take no for an answer!!
The other thing I did that helped me hugely was reading hte book "Delivery by appointment" - it's all about
CS. It will help to prepare you for the actual experience and you will be informed to ask the questions you need to in the pre-surgical meetings with the anaesthetists and the
