It's basically just making sure you stick to a high protein, low carb diet and make sure that what carbs you do eat are low-GI (really important with PCOS). I got bad OHSS with two stim cycles until I followed the plan religiously through cycle #3. Almost religiously, I still ended up on daily blood tests and it was really obvious that the one day I slipped and ate a hamburger and chips nearly spelled disaster for the whole cycle.
I've put myself back on the eating plan for now, and have lost 3kg in 3 weeks - which is an added bonus to feeling a heap healthier and having more energy.
DH also has pretty poor sperm - he was instructed to ejaculate daily while I was on FSH injections and was also put on folate and vitamin C, but he was REALLY slack at actually taking them.
