BellyBelly Babies Born 2007: Did You Circumcise Your Son?

PLEASE ONLY VOTE IF YOU HAVE ACTUALLY GIVEN BIRTH TO A SON IN THE SPECIFIED YEAR.

This is a poll to see any trends in the changes of circumcision over the years of BB members. This thread is not for debate - if you wish to post a comment, you may write about what led you to make that choice as long as it is not defamatory to those who choose opposite. For example, we did some reading and discovered xxx or my partner / I have a belief of xxx.

My DH has been done, but this was not enough reason for me to have it done to my son. I'm due for another in 2010 & he won't be done either. My DH is great about it, it didn't bother him & he's already taught DS everynight in the shower to wash his doodle! For me I think when doctors stop doing things that's a good indication its not a necessity (sp?) but that's just IMO.

I didn't get any of my 4 sons done.
My kids are born perfect, and will remain so unless medically needed (until they are teenagers, than I take no responsibility for their imperfections )

Even though I am Jewish (though not practicing) to me my son was born perfect, so getting him done for no practical reason would be like saying there had been a mistake.
If ds wants to follow his Jewish heritage it will be his choice to make and will represent something much deeper for him.

DH isn't done and didn't want DS done. I also didn't feel the need.

We didnt get our boys done..it was never even a discussion. Dh isnt done. I find that most baby boys that have been circumcised their dads have been too.

They way I see it is if we dont circumcise females why would we want to circumcise males?? Sorry if that is a bit in your face.
