Default toddler suddenly waking at 4.30am

My toddler has always gone down the bed at 7pm no issues at all and waking around 6am. Lately she's been waking and crying at 4.30am. I let her cry for a while and then just go get her and bring her in bed with me. Is this a phase? Hoping so, she's almost 2 years old. Maybe she is getting me ready for a newborn who will be coming into the family soon, hehehehe

Hi'ya,

Maybe she's hungry?? That's all I can think of....my DD 16 months has recently taken a liking to taking a sippy cup of milk to bed and it she wakes at 1 or 2 or 4am will cry and shake it as it's empty and point that she wants me to go to the kitchen and fill it up!! Means she doesn't eat much breakfast though!! Think I'll have to put a slow stop to the refill he he!! Hope it's a stage for you I think as they enter 'todderdom' they change all the time!!

come late springtime and my girls are awake at that time too
the birds are so noisy! Plus the sun is up and shining gloriously

Sorry, I know that doesn't help you much...

Got to love QlD & no daylight savings, our DS was sleeping til after 7am on recent holiday to SA....we get home & lucky if he wasn't up before 5am. We put some sheets up over his blinds & has worked wonders.......he now sleeps til 7am each day as he used to!!
