Canberra Rally flyers and bumper stickers available

I just had 5000 rally flyers and 1000 bumper stickers printed.

The flyers were designed by HBA and say:

"In 2010 homebirth midwifery will be illegal
Join Homebirth Australia (logo)
outside Parliament House in Canberra for
the MOTHER of all birth rallies.

I reckon there are millions of people out there who have no clue this going on, but if they knew they'd be incensed. It has been very interesting seeing the reaction at street level as I've been going round the shops and cafes asking permission to put up the flyers. One woman said, "It's disgusting! How dare they?" Others starting talking about the birth trauma they experienced in hospital. It certainly seems that most people get that it is about choice and resent this being dictated to. I think the flyers are a good way to get the word to your average wo/man in the street who might not have found their way to the various websites.

So, let's wall-paper our towns! I hope we get more people coming to Canberra.
