Default temps after pregnancy

Hi

Does anyone know if temps should go back to normal quickly after pregnancy. I gave birth just over 5 months ago and we want to start trying again in the next 6 months so I wanted to start charting so I could see my cycle. However my temps are all over the place. Before I gave birth they were very easy to read and hardly changed at all. I have never breastfed so thought they would go back quickly.

Can someone please help me.

i guess it would depend on if you have already gotten PPAF and if you are ovulating.

Your temps might be unreliable if you are still getting up during the night or have irregular waking patterns. You might like to try vaginal temping, as it is more reliable, or use OPK's for a little while. HTH!
