Hi heliana! Thanks MR for pointing me here.

Matilda went to Giggles Montessori for over a year until we moved and would have stayed there until she was 6. I loved it there and love the director of the centre. She was very aware, Matilda has some special needs, and they were very accomodating to us when I explained what was going on.

Matilda had a playground incident once, and I explained what happened to the teacher who dealt with teaching the girls in class how to behave towards each other and be more accepting. It was beautifully handled. I really liked being able to come in and say "I am worried about xxx or xyz and this is why" and be listened too. I got involved and went in a few times to do cooking, or bring the dogs in for show n' tell. We were actually thinking of moving closer to a Montessori school post Giggles because we loved the Montessori system so much.
