Wow Ladies, just WOW.

Seems like July is a good month, I pray that it can be for all of us... I am so happy for all 3 of you gals who finally have a positive outcome. I dont think that people who havent been through what we all have can truely understand the MAGNITUDE of what this means. Huge hugs for all of you.

Implantation occurs anywhere between Day 7 and Day 10. If you have a D6 Blasty then its all go within the next few days if its going to happen. Some women can actually feel it when it happens but usually not. Apparently implantation bleeding is actually quite rare but it does happen. In our cases we would probibly put it down to the transfer if we have blastys going in.

Afm, no AF (that itch with a B) thus far. A bit of pain in the area but I think thats because of the difficulty the FS getting to my eggs. I have been falling asleep in the afternoons which is RARE for me (thank goodness Im working from home atm!) and (.)(.) are big and painful. I know its the pregnal though, I had the last injection on saturday morning. I am actually trying to detach from the entire thing now. I guess I am preparing for the worst... deep sigh. So hard to be positive sometimes.

Oh well, guess I better eat now, damn pregnal makes me STARVING hungry all the time.

I've got fingers and toes crossed for everyone.

Hugs

Sammie

Congrats to Theresp, SpringValley and Londonmiss - wishing you all a H & H nine months. That is such wonderful news. It's nice to see those BFP flashing all over the place. Hopefully it's a good sign for the rest of us.
Good luck to everyone in the TWW - doesn't it seem to take forever. I'm there with all you girls, BT is on the 19/07 (well that's the earliest of two dates I've been given so we'll take that one)
This is our last frozen blastie, after this we have to start a fresh cycle so it will be extra disappointing if it doesn't take. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard isn't it? How early could you test or is the scheduled blood test the earliest? I had a day 5 blastie put back.
Krikkit - fingers crossed for your blood test, I really hope it's a positive for you.

JanieS80... I wish you all the best for you TWW, it almost drove me insane, but there was light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope that this will be your time, and the fact that it is your last emby wont matter one bit.

Best of luck to all of you who are due for you BT's I hope to be seeing some more BFP in here....

best wishes to everyone

Thanks so much Springvalley, hopefully some of your baby dust will rub off on me. V exciting!!
Also thanks to Sammie for posting that info on implantation - I wasn't able to find any info on that anywhere so that's great.

Yep, got my FS on speed dial. Office and home number lol.

On my first cycle I had many, many MANY questions and I wrote down all the answers. You know, for quick reference.

Hi everyone.
results came back

I am already over it and this was just the 1st go.

one thing I have noticed is the *because of your age* rule...

I am sorta sick of hearing it actually, if everything was dependant on my age I am sure I would have been pregnant by now.

*because of your age,
-we arent giving you pessaries,
-we would like you to start the next round straight away,
-you should have had more fertilized eggs,
-you should have had more survive,
-you should of had blastos..

I will be talking to my FS about this - and advising them to assess me based on ME not my age - cause if everything was normal - I wouldn't be seeing them!

Hi Krikkit,
Sorry to hear about your BFN.
I can sympathise with the "it's your age" excuse. My friends/family/FS all say that I "will" get pregnant and that I'm "so lucky" because of my age. It doesn't make me feel any better after a BFN. FS is also reluctant to try anything different because of my age. Appareny being "my age" means I have to keep TTC for another decade before anyone will take me seriously.

Good luck with your treatment and getting some answers.
Seph

Hi Girls,
As always lurking around and hoping that you all get a BFP's. To all those already blessed with them BIG congrats to those who are in the TWW hang in there it does happen.

As for what happens after transfers here is what I used as a guide:
3 day transfer-
1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

5 day transfer-
-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

Take care xx

Kristy, big hugs hun . I'm sorry it's not a BFP, and I hope you get it soon

Sammie and jodz, thanks girls for the implantation info. I now know how it all goes, bit hard to know everything and right now every little twinge I get I keep hoping it's implantation pain

Kay, GL for your BT on Friday, you must be very nervous now! I hope it brings you a nice surprise

Krikkit - so sorry to hear of your negative result, keep your chin up. I get sick of the age thing as well, it doesn't make it any better when things don't work out.
Jodz - thanks for posting that info, very helpful.
I bought a couple of HPT's today, not sure when I'll use them. Do pessaries effect the results you get?

Hey girls, just wanted to pop in and say his to everyone. Congrats to all the girls with BFP's. So sorry to hear about the BFN's though. I'm still holding out hope that we'll all get our little bundles of joy soon.

Krikkit - I so know what you mean about the whole age thing. I'm older than you (30) but I get it all the time at my clinic too. They're like "oh you're only 30, you have so much time up your sleeve, so don't even worry about it". As Seph pointed out though, I have told my nurses that just because I'm a lot younger than some of their other patients, it doesn't mean I want to spend the next 10 years TTC. Why should we be disadvantaged because we're young!!

Seph - I saw that you had your FET over the weekend. Good luck and I really hope you get your BFP this time. I'll be thinking of you.

AFM - I'm in the middle of a natural TWW at the moment. It's my first natural cycle in about 7 months (since before seeing FS), so I wanted to do what I could to check that I even ovulated (it was a bit iffy as to whether I was ovulating before I started seeing FS). So I did OPK's and got a positive surge result on day 18 of my cycle (so ovulation either day 18 or 19). I also had a blood test at clinic yesterday to confirm progesterone levels (also to check if I ovulated). And my prog level yesterday was 49.8 (day 26 of cycle), so nurse said that I definitely ovulated, which is good news for me. At least I know that I ovulated, which will help for FET's. So it looks like I'm a late ovulator with a longer cycle. I'm learning a little bit more each month.

So I'll be waiting to see if I'm UTD from this natural cycle (not holding out much hope but you have to try I guess). Then if I'm not pg, I'll be doing a FET. I think AF should be due around this weekend or Monday next week.

Good luck to everyone else in their TWW.

Wishes xoxo

Wishes...I know! - its like your so young.. we can make more money out of you....

I have had a change of Dr for the 3rd time for the next protocol... grr... The 1st Dr richardson, semi retired- he flys every weekend to QLD.
The second one Dr Argwal, is still in training and has just started at the practice, she wrote up my last protocol.

The newest one is Dr Rowland, I see him next Tuesday to discuss the last cycle and protocol for this cycle - he has been around for a while from what I can gather and has plenty of experience, he did my last transfer too.. I didn't even see Dr Argwal at my transfer!
