Hello,
Hope everyone is doing well!
How are you going Megan? What ended up being your decision? Hope it all happens for you....
Sari - Have you managed to talk to hubby about another round? Wishing you all the best for a successful round soon!
Sending lots of and to everyone.
I had my ET on Friday. All well so far - apparently if you get pregnant the likelihood of OHSS getting worse is greater. Bring it on I say...bring it on!!! I'll gladly take some time off work sick if I can have a ....hehehe Although I am the worlds worst sick person and DH would suffer bigtime....hehehe
Thinking of everyone and seeing lots of pregnant bellybellyites everywhere.

Hi everyone
Allie best of luck with your ET, hope everything went ok today...
Leis thank you so much for your prayers, i need every little prayer i can get i think!
I'm not sure DJ about what to do, Kim wants to put the 2 back, she thinks twins would be nice, but i would like one healthy baby, I rang Dr H and asked him and he said that if we have two top grade embryo's then to transfer one and freeze one, and if there is one really good one and one iffy one to put both in...so i think i am going to have to wait and see how they are looking tomorrow when i go for ET.
Its a public holiday here in Brisbane today, so i wonder who is looking after my embryo's?? I feel like i should be ringing up to check in on them already, its like someone is babysitting my kids and i cant even check up on them, and the thought lingers in the back of my mind "Will they still be ok by this time tommorow?", coz its like there is noone there to ring me and tell me otherwise, what if we get to tomorrow and they are both gone? i'm calm, but i'm not, i'm excited, but i'm scared.
Dr H said that the eggs that didnt fertilise werent good quality, what does that mean, i am only 34 this month????
Oh well will post tomorrow when i get back from ET, i have to work until lunchtime, then go for the ET, then i am coming home to sit upside down on the lounge for the rest of the afternoon.
Love to you all...

Deb - good luck in the TWW - sending heaps of your way!!!
Megan and Kim - thinking of you - all the best with your ET.... lol about sitting on the lounge upside down....what a fab idea - might try that myself next time round hee hee hee
Shan - You are stronger than I. We wanted to have a longer break initially but got soooo incredibly impatient that we are going for our FET this month. I hope that it all happens for you naturally while you are all chilled and "Reproductive Technologically" free.
Hope everyone else is keeping well. I finally have a day off today after working my butt off the last few weeks. That was really only to keep me distracted and stop me from thinking about TTC - worked a treat NOT ( lol)!!! Chat soon,
Love Alex xoxo

Hi everyone
Well we transferred 2 embryo's today!!! One 5 cell and one 4 cell, Dr H said that because one was better than the other to transfer both of them for a better chance of pregnancy, but he said things look good!!! I'm relieved that we got to this stage, so relieved...now the TWW, testing on the 31st August.. Yay!! Thank you all for your well wishes and support

Hi Megan, I shall keep everything crossed for you that you have a strong BFP at the end of the TWW. My clinic would only ever transfer one embie - so I do hope you have lots of luck with two.
I too, like Shan and some others am in a rest period from all this IVF stuff....haven't even committed myself to a restart time. I've decided to look for another job and I start acupuncture next week...and I am feeling much more relaxed than I have in the past 12 months....perhaps I am finally accepting that my one and only DS will remain that way, and that maybe that's OK too...funny though, I'm day 12 and think it's O day today....perhaps better get some BDing in tonight, just in case!
Have a fab weekend everyone.
Take care
Janee

Wow, I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had a chance to pop on for days. Time for an update…
We had our first ET on Wednesday, with one embie transferred. Everything went fine, but I found the process rather emotional, especially seeing the little bub on the video screen. We had four other embies at day 5, but only one was suitable to freeze. So out of 10 eggies, only two embies in the end. I was a bit disappointed with this, I had really hoped for more, considering that seven had fertilised. But I guess you can never tell what will happen.
My big problem now is that my concentration is just dreadful, especially at work. Do other people have this problem? I’ll have to get a better handle on things coz I want to still have a job at the end of the cycle, whatever happens!
Best of luck to everyone else. I am thinking about for a multi-BFP week real soon! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
