hi from me too

Hope everyone is well, I am also not up to much. We started our down cycle on Tuesday, so it's a bit odd to be on the pill again. I am sure cycle will go quickly though

All the best to everyone collecting, transferring and tww-ing

Cheers

Unfortunately we had a BFN last Sat so we are going for another FET in October. I am glad we had a month off because unfortunately we are being forced to move.
Take care everyone

Hi everyone

Sorry about AF Mel, having a month off does you good, has for me, makes you that little bit stronger next time...

Well Kim got AF this morning so started the Synarel, i am to stay on the pill for 2 more days and then come off it and get my AF, so i will be a couple of days behind her cycle wise. Then the plan is to see our Dr on Kim's CD5 to start FSH and go from there.

I guess i will be starting estogen at the same time...when Kim goes for EPU i start the progestrone and I will be ovulating when the Embryo Transfer is due. After that i think i have to stay on progestrone for some time.

Kim is very excited...she wasn't too impressed with the ultrasound she had on Tuesday tho, but she survived it. She has never TTC before so it will be interesting to see how she responds to the FSH ...she had a perfect 28 day cycle this month!! Hopefully her eggs will have a better fertilisation rate than mine.

Take care everyone!

Megan, good luck this month. I hope you will be celebrating your BFP really soon!

Jane, I'm not far behind you. AF arrived today and I start the pill tomorrow. I was never really on the pill very long before because it made me feel terrible. So, I'm going to take it at night so that I don't feel sick at work all day long. I am absolutely dreading the Synarel though.
DH is so excited and I have to keep telling him not to get his hopes up. He's like a kid waiting for christmas and I'm worried about how he will react if we get a BFN. I guess we will have to cross that bridge when we get to it!

Ladies, can you please double check your info in the introduction post because some seems to be a bit outdated. If you need anything fixed up, please email me at sarah_h@bellybelly.com.au to update

Racheal - argh I think I have the nausea side effect from the pill. Megan - I am doing the same and taking it at night time but I feel rotten. It's funny I was on it on for years because of my endo and it was the same one too. I still vividly remember being sick when I started it all those years ago (gosh that's 16 years ago when I was 16 LOL)

Mel - sorry to hear about your bfn, I hope your move goes smoothly

Megan - goodluck to you and Kim, finger crossed this cycle for you

I am off to have a cup of tea and try and get this nausea to settle down. I am also on antibiotics from having the flu and chest infection so I feel blah. Looks like another day on the couch tomorrow.

Big Hi to everyone I have missed

Hi Ladies,

Megan and Jane, just read your posts and we are nearly on the same day of cycle so would you like to stick together through it (Ive never had anyone to do this with b4).

I start to take the pill today!!!and i do suffer from taking it to although Ive changed Gyn and she has put me on a different pill that ive never had b4.

We havent done a stim cycle since Sept 05 but did have A FET in Feb 06. I so excited that i have someone to track through this with. (that's if you'll let me?). i had to wait til day 5 to start to take the pill.(which is today)
BBL Dh wants to get plants for the front

xx lou

Lou - of course, this is completely new to me being my first cycle. Are you Melbourne or Monash (just out of interest). I am going to try and take it a bit later tonight, last night I felt revolting but I feel ok again this morning so I must have slept through most of it.
I also started mine on day five and am now on day 10, did you have to start yours on day 2 Megan? It fascinates me how we all seem to do little variations on the same thing.

Have a great day everyone

It's so nice to have a few of us at very similar stages of our cycles.
Yes, I was told to start on Day 2. I don't really know why it varies. I remember the nurse said I could start it between Day 2-5 but I also remember the Dr. saying to start on Day 2 so that's why I'm starting today.
I guess I ring my nurse tomorrow to let her know I have started and she will give me a date for starting Synarel? I'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself but I'm a bit anxious about it all!

Taking the pill late might be a good idea Jane. I was thinking of taking it about 9.30 which is generally about an hour before I go to bed and I hope it will sleep through the nausea.

Girls Im so so soooooooooo excited that we are together on this one. we will be able to surport each other through this (OMG i just want to pick up the phone and call you as im feeling i cant type fast enough,LOL)

I was with Monask for all 4 cycles but recently changed for several reasons and am now with Melbourne. I had a lap on the 4th sept to remove my tubes but they found that the right had gone already or the repair didn't work after the ectopic. Anyway they tied my left and my Gyn feels that this will have a huge impact on treatment. (I hope so) DH thinks it will be a couple of cycles til it works after surgery. I was so happy to get AF so I could start again as it feels like it's been ages since we tryed.

Jane i hope your first cycle is a BFP and that the drugs are kind to you.

I was told to start the pill on day 5 after AF.One cycle i did with Monash i didnt go on the pill just that hideous spray, which i am not looking 4ward to.

Megan do you mind if i ask what cycle it is for you?

During the cycles i had b4 i didnt feel that the drugs made me feel that bad but i bet my DH would beg to differ. During all of my cycles i was working in this fantastic childcare centre but the other staff were horrid and it took me nearly two years to begin to enjoy going to work (i know why didnt i leave) Anyway ive been transferred to another centre and loving it so much. Ive been in childcare for nearly 10 years and love it all the time esp the babies i could take them all home. Anyway more to the point Im hoping that this more positive environment will help us to achieve our own family.

Girls i want to wish you all the very best and cant wait to catch up with all your news and we progress on our journey.

And just remb take the pill and all other drugs same time every nigh or as close to.

Looking forward to compairing notes and nurse updates

xx

Lou, this is my first cycle as well. Of the 3 of us, you're the experienced one!!
I am at Monash. Do you mind me asking which Monash you went to and why you changed. You don't have to say, I'm just curious and wondering if there is anything I should keep on eye on since I'm with them!? lol
I have to say, I'm really not looking to the Synarel. Can't think of anything worse than spraying something up my nose! lol

Ok im really not the expert but i have been through it all with monash!

Dont know if i can really say on this site but am thinking about becoming a platinum member and then i can post you personel.

Really i was getting a bit sick of going to the Gyn and him telling me to do something like start the pill and i was already on it. then the last thing to top it off was they told me to start taking the gel on the friday befor FET, so i phoned to conferm and nurse said no Wed when you have FET. so i telephoned about 3 more times to confirm and she was a little ****y with me and told me i was not her only paitent!!!well then on the day of FET i couldnt have it done as i was ment to start taking the gel on the friday!!!!!!

I went ahead with the tranfer three days later only because my little embies survived to blasties!!! still they said my next cycle with them would be of no charge but have still not been back to then and have 9 snowbubs with them. I am still waiting for then to send me the offer of a free cycle in writing

Also when having ep i ended up having a stich as they poped a vessel or something!my new GYn said thats just bad luck and look no one could promis this would be an easy ride

Anyway i will say I did four cycles with them so there not that bad i just needed a change and was a little sick of seeing every doc but my own when paying so much money.

I enjoyed the people i met and learnt alot while being treated by Monash but it was time fo a change for me. I chose Monash as they offered IVF public as well as private and money was very tight when i first moved to Aus as i was applying for my visa ect....but this ment we had to go right across the city to get treatment. Then i discovered that i was covered by my health insurance and it was cheaper for me to go private!!lol

Sorry if its a bit long winded

Lou
