Hi JBM,
I cant help with your hunt for Tassie assisted conception peoples..... though some metformin and clomid did help to produce DD1 last year. Unfortunately us Tassie girls don't seem to chat like some of the other states. Luckily there are heaps of great girls on this site that are always happy to chat and offer advice!

JBM do yuo see Bill watkins? He is in Hobart down in Battery POint but does run clincis across the state. You have to come to Hobart for EPU and ET though.
We saw Bill a couple f times but first time I fell pg naturally but then m/c at 11w4d. The next time a year later he did a Lap/hysteroscopy and HSG in Oct 07. he recommended IUI for Nov 07 then IVF for Dec 07 but I ended up sick. By the time I was better the clinic had clsoed for Christmas and it was an extended break thru to end of january as they did some renovations ... when it re-opened I was about to turn 44 and so then classed as too old for help as their success rate over the age of 44 is not worth it even though my FSH has never ben over 5 and I have no problems or cycle changes etc etc.
Anyhow we had a couple more early m/c then I fell pg with a BFP in August and now 27 wks today.
I keep meaning to send Bill a scan photo to show him women my age can still get pg but I keep putting it off til I get over the next hurdle.
My OB had faith though. I asked him after the 2nd m/c D&C how old his oldest natural mum was and he said 47 so I had a few years to go yet lol.
BTW My DH also ahd a vas reversal. he had the vas in February 94 and had it reversed in May 01.
Good luck and I hope you get your BFP soon.
Annabelle took us 5 cycles after the VR.
Samuel took from August 02 thru to Janaury 04 and Daniel took us from Jan 0 thru to Aug 08.
hugs and luck
Judy

Kezzabird, I grew up at Lachlan so NN was my old stompin ground so to speak. We moved out of there in '82 when I turned 18. How long have you been in the valley?
Janet I have a new belly pic on the pc from yesterday. I'll have to upload it to the gallery now that I fit in the 3rd trimester gallery lol. I met another lady the other night who also sees Bill. She lost her little girl and is now doing DI ..
Natty I am now up in Collisnvale which is sort of behind Mt Wellington via Berriedale. We've been up here now since Aug '05. Built our own house.
Sterla lol I have also lived in Lonnie, well in Hadspen. DH worked for a while out at the Newnham Campus in Mowbray.
*waves hi*

Hey girlies, I'm actually a fake Tassie girl I'm from the Uk moved to Tas 15 months ago and haven't looked back. We absolutely love it here, to begin with we rented in Moonah then bought 12 acres up here about 9 months ago, it's the best move we've ever made. I've already made some wonderful friends, and finding this forum is a bonus!
I have a vegetable garden the size of my old back yard in the Uk, and am enjoying the fruits of my labour, although I haven't been able to get in the garden much since falling for my double blessings.
They were conceived naturally, we had just about given up trying as I'm 36 and my other half is 42 in a week, so thought time had run out for us, so it was a lovely surprise when we found I was pregga's and doubly so since the scan

| | lol Hey Kezza how are you managing with keeping the water up to the garden? KNowing how dry it can get up around Magra. We have a 3/4 acre vegies patch but it is absolutley pathetic. The plants are still green but the only things gorwing are the spuds. The weather has just been too wet or cool for them to take off. My other plants are gorwing well though. I gorw gum trees from seed and some species of pine trees as well. Shame I can't get native trees to grow as easily grrrr
But yeah, since being pg I can't get out and weed teh vegies anymore and the grass grows quicket than the plants.
Janet yeah I find that too.. you can go thru reallllly quiet times and then everyone appears. My neighbour is also called Janet. We don't see her that often but apaprently she came over today to lodge a complaint. The boys down the road got a trail bike for Xmas and their neighbour complained about it and called the police on them. So the police told them it was ok to ride so long as it was on private property. the boys asked if our place was suitable so the police said yeah so they came and asked DH if they could ride here. Well an hour is ok but most of the day??!! I don't blame Janet for coming over. the boys sure don't listen to my complaints.
hi Cheryle and tinkerbella
29wks pg today and suddenly thoguht maybe I shold get the baby shower organsied before we run out of time. So Valentines day it is lol.. now to print out invites.
hugs
Jude

Hey Angelic Dragon!
We are sooo lucky we are on Town water so been watering everyday unless it rains of course, it's just taken off I can't believe it. I've never grown veggies before so am totally chuffed with my produce, yesterday I plucked out some juicy carrots and some yummy butter beans, and a great big bunch of silver beat. The spuds still have the flowers on, so not quite ready yet. The peas are just about finished, thank goodness I was getting a bit sick of them. Next year if the twins allow me the time, I'd like to put in a fruit garden too. But we'll have to see if I have the time and or the inclination to get my butt in gear.
One of my friends has kindly offer to have my baby shower at her house, so that I don't have all the mess and organizing to do, how cool is that? We are going to wait until we know what their sex is before embarking on the planning of it. Does anyone know of anywhere that have a wide range of side by side twin buggies? The only place I can find is Babyland up at Lonnie, but didn't really wanna go all the way up there for a buggy. I'd like to test a couple before I choose, plus I wanna make sure it can fit through a normal doorway. I don't like those ones in front of the other, the one behind will always be hanging out cos he/she can't see! Oh well I'm waffling again, keep posting Tassie ladies
