| | My MIRENA is falling out ... much pain :(
owie ... my mirena is falling out ... last few days ive had heavy bleeding and was certian it wasnt sa period , i have had one since dds birth and only had a few days of spotting when it was inserted .. but the bleeding wasnt super heavy just heavy with losts of pain.. and now yesterday i could feel the stirngs were longer and now the strings are hanging out of me !!
i am in very bad pain , i have no milk to make myself a hot cuppa to pass time till i can call the doc AND i dont have my car keys to take me there , i left them in mums car lastnight...
I have another car here that we are trying to sell so its just sitting in the garage , but the battery is flat and DH took the car seats out of his work car and now they are sitting in the loungeroom .. so id have to put them in and i can barely stand let alone put them in the car !!!
anyone else have it fall out ... im so over it ... i said to dh i want it out , (its barely been a month since i had it put in !!!! ) ive never felt right since ive had it and now this confirms my "no contrceptives" belief .. (apart from condoms)
they pain is so bad and im scared if i stand up it will fall out and i'll have complcations ... oh and whats worse is i have no pads left only panty liner and i go through them quickly
and mum wont be here till 3pm .... and dh wont leave work
i feel like vomiting from the pain .. or crying because im having a $hit day ...
what a waste of $30 |

You poor thing! I can't believe your DH won't come home from work so you can get to a dr
Do you have someone that could come and watch the kids for a while (other than your mum)?
I hope you get to a dr soon and have it all sorted out |

I know how you feel hun - I had a D&C to remove mine last Friday because I had the opposite - it had completely gone into my uterus and was against the uterine wall - not fun living with constant period pain I can tell you.
Anyway, I really hope that you can get to the dr sooner so you can get some relief.

willow - its like 3 out of 100 chance of it happening ... my body rejected my belly ring all those years ago , so im not surprised this is happeing ..
If i asked one of my frineds, they would have to come here and look after the kids , but i still wouldnt be able to get there as the pain is bad and i dont think i could drive .... my mum is coming earlier and should ber here in an hour , i begged her to come even tho her and my sis had other plans .... lol i feel like a jealous drama queen ...

I'm sure they wouldn't feel like that and you wouldn't have asked her if you didn't need her to come earlier.
Willow, all I can say about it is never again!

OMG Lea
Glad it is out now though and the pain is easing. I am now glad that we have decided to do the once and for all solution (provided they do the dye run and double check it!!)

That's good to know that you're feeling better now it's out. Just keep an eye on things over the next few days though.

Pity I had to work today - if I was at home, and had seen this, I would have offered to come and take you to the doctor. I think maybe you live pretty close to me, so we could have done it really quickly.

*hugs* I'm getting mine out tomorrow, I'm hoping that my body will feel the better for it, and I'll lose all the weight I think I put on because of it.

Yep, totally agree. Of course there would still be many who rave about it, but I would like to know exactly how many have had it taken out after the first 3 months.
