ok, we have established doing wee's on the potty/toilet.. actually a lot easier and quicker than i had expected! she seems to have picked it up straight away! we're still using nappies at night, and to go out, as im not sure she is ready to 'hold on' just yet.
anyways, when it comes to doing a poo.. she doesnt want to sit down to do it.. which i understand.. that will come with time. but also, she wont let me take her knickers off and wipe her bum, when she has done a poo (now, for
DD a 'poo' means a nugget sized poo.. not a sausage type. she's had trouble with constipation, and will doe 5 or 6 'nuggets' a day, rather than one big poo) i dont know why, its like she is happy to have it sit in her knickers
which ends up seeping through her pants as well- not that i LET her leaqve her knickers on, but sometimes i've had to wait 10 mis or even longer, trying to persuade her to have a shower or something, rather than just wiping her bum.
argh! i just dont know what to do! how can i gt her to understand that her poo needs to go in the toilet as well? and that she
cant just let it sit in her knickers...
our next TT hurdle!
