Hi

I'm a first time mum (aged 35) looking to join a mothers group in ormeau area (or close to ormeau). Or meet with other mums in the area with children the same age. Does anyone have any suggestions?? By son is 3 weeks today.

I am a new mother (aged 26 in Upper Coomera) to a baby boy who is 8 weeks old and was also wanting to join a playgroup. I went onto the Playgroup website and found some groups available in the Helensvale area, the one in Coomera was booked out. There might be a playgroup closer to Ormeau for, or if not maybe I'll see you at the Helensvale one. It would be nice to meet another new mum.

Thank you for that. I found a couple in Pimpama. There were a few in Helensvale, which day playgroup are you attending?

I was thinking of going to the Wednesday meeting, which is at 9:30am at Hession Oval on Parks Drive. It's $3 to attend. Maybe I'll see you there. I have dark brown hair and fair skin with a 8 week old baby boy.

If you are interested in travelling there are a few of us down here at Coomera trying to arrange get togethers every so ofter. I live at Upper Coomera and we are hoping to catch up next week (Tuesday or Wednesday) at my house!
I have a 3.5yr old boy and 10.5month old daughter.
Let me know if you are interested in coming along - the more the merrier!
If you were particularly interested in a playgroup have a look at the website Oxenford & Coomera Community Youth Centre. This is the community centre at Oxenford and they offer a lot of different playgroups for all ages...included music and baby signing. All of which are free!

My name is Ella. We live in Ormeau. I'm a first time mum and have a beautiful boy who is 8 months old. I'm going a little stir crazy at home talking baby language all day and can see that you are all in mother's groups I'm wondering if someone near Ormeau that is involved in a mothers group would be able to contact me if I would be welcome at any of the meetings you are involved in. Would love to meet some other loving, like minded mum's as I'm desperately in need of and adult conversation every now and then and my beautiful fiance is going crazy being called all day at work ha ha.
