Great news all round ladies - YAY!!!!!!!
I can't wait to hear everyone's birth announcements. So exciting!!!!
Yesterday was a very sad day for me as Zachary would have been 7 months old yesterday. Had to get through the day at work then came home and cried for ages. Lit Zachary's candle and cried some more. DF was wonderful as always and just held me and let me cry.
Our nuchal (sp?) scan is on 12 March - it feel so far away and I can't wait to see our little wriggler again!!!!
Hope you are all taking care of yourselves.
xxxx
Theresa

Katie - So happy for you..Anna sounds like such a cutie
Rozzie - Thanks hun...you're so right...should focus on the 'absence' of the cow lol! Great news about your apppointment. Isn't it weird having a date? So excited for you!
Jo - Hope your Ob can get the stitch out without the epi...6 weeks is nothing...woo hoo!!!

Well...that's all my brain has retained...sorry for anyone I've missed!
As for me...just got my cot and bassinette sheets in the post so busy washing...talk about leaving things to the last minute! Have called the hospital to confirm my admission time and the midwife told me I have one of the luxo rooms with the double bed so DH can bunk in...yippee...now I have to stop worrying about all the 'what if's' and focus on the fact this little one is big and healthy...he/she WILL scream and the paed WILL tell me bub is ok...that is just how it has to go...it just has too!!!!

My kidneys are good. There's a bit of a problem with urine draining from them and into my bladder, which is causing the severe back pain, but a combination of changing positions and a prescription for a strong pain killer is what the doctor ordered.
Ellie! Very exciting news -- I'll be thinking about you tomorrow.!
Otherwise, I'm not in a great place emotionally right now, which is why I've been and will continue to be silent for a while. But it'll work itself out.

Oh I am sooo excited for you Ellie!!!! Sending you loads of good luck and positive vibes for Friday
Theresa - sorry to hear you had such a rough day yesterday.
Not long at all now until your NT scan - it will go so fast and you'll be seeing that little bean again. I like having a go at the "nub" theory for the NT scan for guessing gender so if you get a good pic, post it and I can have a guess if you want! Can't guarantee I'll get it right of course, but its a bit of fun...
Jude - that is excellent news about Daniels cord
Rozzie - 4 weeks...wow! I only noticed today that you, Tildy and Jude are all due on the exact same day according to your tickers. Funny if you all actually did post your announcements for the same arrival date
Katie - sounds like Anna is just a delight. I can't wait to be holding my little princess!
Tildy - hope you are doing okay. DH bought himself a book today called "The Expectant Father" as he is worried he knows nothing about what to expect or do when she arrives. So cute of him.
I am starting to get quite uncomfortable movements in my belly now as she runs out of room - lots of pokes and hard bits sticking out of me, especially right under my belly button. I am guessing knees, elbows or heels but who knows? We saw this baby doll in the shop the other day that was about 40cm long - amazing to think that is fitting in me at the moment!! No wonder I have bits sticking into me all over the place |

I'm alright. I'm on maternity leave now, so I'm being all housewifey, which means I'm wearing myself out too much. :P I aggravated the SPD so much by being active yesterday that I wasn't sure I would make it up the stairs to bed, let alone how to conquer the issue of getting INTO bed. Today I'm going to take it WAY easy, and work on some little craft projects I have for Kebab's room. I'll post some pics of our nursery later, hopefully I can finish these wall decorations I'm making first.
The emotional downturn has to do with my parents, and I'm trying to deal with it the best I can, but it's not easier given that I'm alone with my thoughts all day.
If anyone missed Ellie's birth announcement: http://bellybelly.com.au/forums/birt...lie-mummy.html
Theresa -- I feel lucky that I didn't get bad M/S and could handle heartburn and such with relative ease. I hope it stays that way for you too!

Congratulations Ellie and what a beautiful name is Anika. I am so very happy for you after all your years of waiting, you finally have a baby girl to love adore and cherish.
Tildy we dont have stairs in our hosue,( designed with my dad in mind as he has been told with his particular diabetes he could end up in a wheelchair) yet by the end of the day i struggle too to walk to bed then trying to swing legs up into bed? Gee that is like visiting the OB na dhaving to get DH to help me up onto the exam bed for the scan and measurements. Turning over in bed? Other than whale size the pain is also debillitating. But hun, we dont have long now.
Rozzie you may end up beofre me with the c sec lol. My OB says I have the perfect pregnancy as far as baby is concerned and the amount of fluid I have which by now has started to run low. I am hoping though he may still induce at 38 wks as he is aware of how quick my labours go and the fact we live out of town. Much better to induce while I am in hospital than deliver a baby on the side of the road. I also tend to have non-typical labour in that you can never tell if I am in labour or having false labour until I get to around 8-9cms and then hold the baby a few minutes later.
Theresa not long now til your NT scan Its so kewl seeing the bubs wriggling around and so nice and early too. I love your ticker and how descriptive it is.
I have bad reflux, really bad, and currently home from yet more hospital visits for preterm labour and slow movements. Spent a night in then several days going back and forth with CTG traces but so far so good. Next Wednesday sees a BPP scan and msot likely another CTG.
Pics of scans on my blog in my siggy, click on page 56 lol Iĺl have to add the latest belly pic.
hugs all
Jude
