Question Help really bad pain in my leg and groin?

So I am nearly 39 weeks and I have been having really bad pain in my groin for a fair few weeks now.

Ob said it will probably be muscular due to position of baby, but I actually cripple over when it hits and have to stop walking.

Today I was outside pushing Ds on the swings when i got the most unbeliveable pain down my left leg that it actually gave way and I fell on the ground?

What could this be? Should i be worried? I am seeing the ob on thursday.

Thanks xx

I wouldn't be too worried. I've had this with all three of my pregnancies and it got worse each time. By the time I had DS2 I could barely walk. And I mean that literally.

It was awful, so you have my sympathy babe. Rest up as much as you can with a crazy 2 yo...it'll all be over soon.

Sounds like your bub is pressing on a nerve or something hon. I'd give your Ob and doula a call just to see what they say - may not be so uncommon. I am getting groin pain down the inside of each leg - but its more subtle and achey - like I've been holding a stretch for too long!!

Hope you get an answer!

Your probably a bit out of alignment lovely. Do you see an osteo or chiro? I'd go and see and osteo who does pregnancy work. Be best to be feeling strong for labour.
I've had the same thing happen where you loose strength in your legs, horrible isn't it? I got my hips re-aligned and it worked a treat.
Fingers crossed she makes an appearance soon! x

Nothing really worked for me but I hope the osteo can help hun...Having a 10 pound+ baby probably didn't help me any!

For what it's worth, mine completely went away after bub was born.
