Default Mater Mothers Public - Brisbane?
Anyone have any experiences?

I had IVF to conceive, my fertility Dr has handed me on to the service of my choice and I was thinking the Mater Mothers.

If anyone has anything to say about them, I'd love to hear it.

Sue I had my last baby at Mater mothers, not the new improved unit though and I am planning on having this one there too.
I have no problems with the Mater at all. The care I recieved was thorough and careful. I did find the wait to see the dr/midwives were a bit extreme (sometimes up to 2 hours) but I transferred to the midwife care close to my home and I didnt have to go back into the hospital until the last week. If you have your own OB then you shouldnt have this problem.

I can't comment on having a baby there, but my DS had a few trips there last year & the hospital itself is great, staff were great & all that they offer too.
