Betcha is an unknown at this point
Default VBAC in melbourne... where did you go?

And how supportive were they? I don't have private insurance so can really only consider public options.

I am going for a VBAC at my local hospital which is in Warragul. They are very Pro VBAC and my Ob has been so encouraging throughout this pregnancy especially in addressing my concerns regarding VBAC - inductions, risks etc.

Warragul is approx 110 min from Melbourne and is a country hospital but are quite high up for VBAC rates.

Nae ... my SIL is having her #2 bub at the same hospital as you (but in Feb) for the same reason ... she opted to not go Monash again as she found Warragul to be so much more accommodating on so many levels, ... so far she is so much more happier that she going to Warragul this time (and she is considered a risk patient with health issues) !!

Yup Warragul has it's own VBAC clinic. The top VBAC hospitals are in country areas... you'd think the ones in the city would want to strive to be like that, but I guess they're too busy and its much easier to try and get you to comply or have a repeat c/s.

Thumbs up

so, true Kelly ... my Gyno who worked at Monash said it would have been ' pushed ' for me to have a c/s just cause i was an older 1st time Mum at 39 with pregnancy induced hypertension ... luckily not long later i had moved to country Ballarat and the OB's & midwives were encouraging of a VB & a drug-free one at that
