It was looking like I was heading toward another breech delivery and my
OB was happy for a breech VBAC trial. He knew I was keen to avoid another c-section and even said "You're going to make me deliver this one breech aren't you" (um - yep

) It didn't end up being needed so I am not sure how it would have gone when push came to shove (so to speak

) as the registrar on duty was antsy enough about me being a rapidly progressing VBAC. I was a high risk public patient at a public hospital due to other risk factors not related to a VBAC.
When we discussed the breech delivery for
DS we were clear that they will either progress well and smoothly (his did to 7cm - just his head was stuck between my anterior placenta and ribs leading to foetal distress) or go pear shaped and we would head for an emergency c-section. My plan would have been the same regardless of the VBAC part for
DD.
