| | Happy 2nd Birthday Olivia
Hope she has a wonderful day Nic. I know what you mean i cant believe the first two years have flown - my baby is the last one to have his birthday not that it seems like it he even looks different now. Lol on the b!tch thing kids pick up the wrong words faster then the nice ones.
Well Ethan is still not talking much, wish he was sleeping more but. Last night he was awake nearly all night and he didnt even have a sleep yesterday little bugger. He doesnt like the heat at all - funny for a qlder i think. Hoping it cools down again soon
Toilet training - has anyone started yet? Im not sure if ethie is ready yet he is just hating nappies. I put them little terry towelling pants on him and he loves it then he goes and pees on my floor then he gets a teatowel to wipe it up and puts it on the table. So happy that he wipes it up lol i would do it for him, but not that he puts it on the table alex nearly used it the other day to wipe dishes.
Hope you are all having a great day

Happy birthday Olivia.. wow 2... it does feel like yesterday we were all announcing our bubs were coming... well except little ashie taking his sweet time!! LOL
Jas - yes toliet trainning here, not strictly but Ash has a seat on the toilet he loves doing wees with lol, hes in pull ups at childcare and its better there than home.
anyone up for a read.... vent coming....
Im in such a dilemma here girls... things arent going so well with Paul, he got really drunk last weekend and really seriously peed me off so im so not feeling hes the right one for me and mostly ash! But now rob is back on the scene and doing VERY well may i add, im having all those damn feelings for him again... its just insane!
On tuesday ash had to come home from childcare, and i couldnt get away from work and no one to pick him up, so Rob did it and very happily too, couldnt contact his boss, but just went cos he said family is more important.... AAAAGGGHHHH why is this making me feel like this.... We had the most awesome day and the beach together on sunday.. and hes been all over me since, which yeh doesnt help.... We are just too attracted to each other its STUPID! we are just ***** at communication, thats our problem! but soo hoping things will continue to change as he gets better, hes stepping up as he promised. We are going to a sanctuary park next weekend AND getting family pixi photos done.. which is a funny story itself cos ive spent the last 2 years nagging him to do it, and all of a sudden he says yes straight away! .... Well all i care about right now is Ash, and him being around Rob is much more important to me than other men, i think i need to stay single longer... at least till i can get rob out my system completely..or just marry him LOL j/k.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes (on olivia's behalf)
Lauren: I think you made the right decision. If it doesn't feel right then it isn't.. Hope you can find someone special soon..
Happy birthday for Miss Abbey tomorrow..
As for me.. Advice.. I am so sick to death of Olivia waking at night. she wakes around 9:45pm every bloody night. She will resettle and go into her bed but then she wakes a couple hours later and ends up in bed with us. When simon is on day shift I sleep out in the lounge with her so Simon can get a good nights sleep (my choice to do it this way) I just wish she would just go to sleep and stay asleep till the morning. she was so foul this morning and yesterday. i don't know if it is 2 yr old molars or what. It wouldn't bother me so much if she just came into our room in the early hours of the morning and went straight to sleep which she was doing but the cming in just got earlier and earlier til the point that we weren't even in bed.. *sigh* any advice?

Nic - im not the one to offer sleeping advice LOL
We had a break through here....... 24 hours NO BOOBIES. Woke at 12.30 and 3.30am last night and just had water and this morning woke and asked for toast which he NEVER eats as soon as he wakes.. then asked for more. had 2 1/2 pieces! goes to show how much he was filling on boobies. But the biggest fear was getting in the car, cos he screams for it. but managed to get him to have cordial this morning and when i picked him up from childcare he screamed boobies and shoved his hands down my top, but when i got in the car i said water or cordial, and he drank a whole bottle of cordial... i know not the best thing to drink but if it weens him itll do.. its only really weak anyways.
So we have come home and so far so good!! see how we go again tonight!! My boobs are SO full tho!!
Does anyone know how long it takes for the milk to go away when you stop feeding cold turkey????

Lauren - Hugs on your break up with Paul, hope things are alot more relaxed with you and rob now. As for boobies cabbage leaves work really well but dont forget to express a little bit in the shower every morning just the tinest bit but it helps you not to get mastitis, think you could also go and get tablets but cabbage leaves work a treat.
Yay to ashie with no boobie for 24 hours that is a huge feat how is he going?
Nic - wish i could give you some sleep advice but i think i need it too. Most of the time i give in and just let Ethan sleep in my bed - lazy i know but so much easier then the fights. Occassionally he will fall asleep beside alex in alex's bed so cute but then he wakes up after we have gone to bed and wants to come into ours.
Maybe because they are our "babies" it is harder then the others.
Ethan is talking lots more! He can say lots of words now. Seems like he just started saying words overnight lol. He said bear and belt, car, truck his fave word other then daddy, cuddle and mum is jack. Lol i wonder which boy gets in trouble the most atm.....
Cant believe christmas will be here so fast, then my baby turns 2... not ready for him not to be a baby anymore

Lauren: yay for Ashie weaning good for you.. I found that if I just left my boobies alone and didn't touch them at all (ie even just hand expressing to see if I had milk) I was completely dried up within 6 weeks. It might have been sooner but I just left them be.. after I finished feeding Ethan it took a yr. For Jacob well I was pg with Livi so it never really went away..
with Isaac my milk dried up due to a pg
Jas: Its amazing how much they can say isn't it. Olivia swore again today  I said move you bloody B@stard to my printer and well she copied me haha.. I do give into olivia to and don't bother fighting with her over getting into our bed but I am just over her waking up before we even get to bed.. and to be totally honest it tends to interupt our um couple time if you get what I am saying
I almost choked Olivia this morning .. She woke at 5:15 *yawn* then when I went to the toilet she ever so kindly woke Jacob. THEN at 5:30 she went in and woke up Ethan and was in the process of waking isaac when I went in and grabbed her.. What I didn't know was that she had a piece of lego in her mouth and when I grabbed her I caused her to swallow it.. she started choking and trying to gasp.. *freaking out* after about a minute she seemed to be able to breathe better so I ran and got her some water and she swallowed that ok.. but was still clearing her throat a lot.. In the end I think she swallowed it completely.. Certainly woke me up thats for sure
I forgot to share this other day too. Olivia can count to 5 now which is pretty cute. she goes 1,2,3,4,5 ready GO then runs like a bat out of hell.. but then when she was counting in the car for my mum I said half smartly.. What comes after 5 and bloomin hell she said 6 and.. she picked up one of her birthday cards as well 2 days ago (or was it yesterday....) and said very clearly.. Look Mummy the letter T. I said where is the letter T olivia.. she loked for a few seconds then actually pointed to the letter T. I was just amazed.. Clever little chicken she is..
anyways.. I better go and get the miss ready for her nap.. We just had a play outside with the hose and bubbles and a nice shower lunch and now it is nap time..

| | Jas - I so know what you mean your not ready for you 'baby' to not be a baby any more!! i still feel like Ash is my baby... I think rob thinks i baby him too much, mind you im not used to a man being more rougher around the edges than me lol Nic - way to go Olivia! Ash is counting to 5 now too. i think its awesome when they start doing it out of the blue by themselves...
Well i kinda have some news here, wasnt going to really say anything just yet before i got too ahead of myself.. but Rob and i are offically TTCing this month. Ever since having Ash hes known how much i REALLY REALLY want a biological brother or sister for Asher and especially with this paul thing not working out really scrared me that if i got into another relationship and had a bub and it didnt work, i just so strongly do not want kids with different fathers. Rob has just been SO awesome as promised and we are spending every chance we get together and talk every day so Neither of us want to be in a relationship with another person and rob has always regretted missing out on the begining of Ash. So we decided to have another one together...
So its pretty excited atm, but nerve wracking as hell trying to catch the 'right' time. Im trying to temp atm and learn everything - im so new to this its not funny. So there u go... hehehe Hoping another bubs will be added to our group.. what an awesome chrissy presant that would be!!
Mum is VERY excited too which is really aweseome and helps having that support again.
Oh and pls dont say anything on FB. I dont want anyone to know till i get bfp! xx
Hope everyones well.....

BUZZIE! Wow! Good luck catching the little eggy
How is the weaning going?
Nic - what a clever little girl you have there. I am sure her brothers have taught her loads. I already see Monique telling Amelia what things are. Very cute.
How is Olivia's sleep pattern going? I have no idea how you could stop her night waking. DH's little niece has always woken up around 9pm and still does. She also still goes to sleep in her parents bed and they recently got a King size to accommodate (she is turning 9 next week). Monique has only really been sleeping in her own bed since July when Amelia came along and we have been really lucky that she sleeps through for us. I don't think I could handle both of them up all through the night.
Jas - I know what you mean about words happening overnight. Monique has been saying her words much clearer these last few weeks and the other day she just opened up and said 'more juice please mummy'. I am a big softie and had tears in my eyes. It's funny because she never really liked juice and that day was the first that she actually liked it. Parties - How many kids/adults would you invite to the 2nd birthday party? We are hoping the weather holds out for us this year and have it in the park but I'm not sure who to invite really. Monique gets overwhelmed and clingy in large groups until she warms up to everyone (which sometimes can take a while) so I am leaning towards having a smallish party. What have you done?

Hi Everyone feels like ages since I have posted in here.
Buzzie - yay on TTC #2 - hope you caught that eggy and have a little August bub.
Tinsel - we did a very small party for Fia's and Maria's 2nd, when they are 1 they are a little oblivious to the people but at 2 they seem to get more overwhelmed.

tinsel- alex had his 2nd birthday at my mums with just family, jack's was the same. Charlie just had me and his brothers - his father had to work and due to his birthday only being 13 days from when ethan was born i didnt feel up to a large scale thing. Ethan we are thinking of taking to the movies - charlie wants to see chipmunks 2 as do the other boys and it is one of the only things - the 1st chipmunks that ethan will actually watch.
Susan - goodluck you might get them both out of nappies together - then i will send you ethan to tt lol. He only wants to play in the toilet
Lauren - Hugs hope your ttc goes smoothly and that we hear news of a pg soon! How exciting for you
Nic - Olivia is a smart little girl. Sounds like she is doing very well.
Seems like they are all getting too big so fast, makes you want to apply the breaks sometimes and let them be little . I get ethan sometimes and wrap him up like a baby and hold him like a baby, he hates it now lol but he looks so cute.

Hi everyone...
Well the weaning isnt really happening atm. The awesome night i had when he drank water was so exciting then the next night he got sick and was throwing up - just was a 24hour thing but i fed him cos he was sooo upset and it helped him sleep.. so im back to square one again now! but im still trying to be strict with water during the day and night feeds im still giving in.. will try again soon!
Jas - I cuddle Ash up all the time.. lol im lucky he doesnt midnd it for a while, but theres always bbs involved if he gets too close to me lol grrrhh Susan - good luck with the toilet training, Ash goes on the toilet cos he copies the kids at childcare, so its great kieren has others to copy too.
Been so sick atm, im in the 2ww atm and its sooo nerve wrecking!! not just cos im dying to know but one minuet i think i am then not. but im having alot of symptoms i did with Ash so thats good i guess....
Hope everyone is having a good week, i had monday off and now my usual wednesday so time is flying atm... 3 weeks to holidays yay!!
Oh and next weekend im going to adelaide to see family with rob... and my boss paid for our hotel for my chrissy present!! so nice!! 5 star in the city.. i NEVER go away so its so nice to have a treat...

Hope you have a great time on your holiday Lauren. Fingers crost for you when you do your testing in a few weeks. Poor ashie glad to hear he is feeling better, you will get there with the weaning just might take a bit of time.
Something funny - i looked at ethan this morning and i have only just realised how much bigger he now actually is. it is like i have only just realised that he isnt a tiny bubba anymore.
