Marie is passionate about her love of massage and it’s amazing benefits, she brings with her experience in effectively treating and preventing a multitude of ailments, helping clients improve and maintain their quality of life.
Marie has a strong focus on women’s needs especially during all stages of pregnancy, a wonderous and very special time in a woman’s life and one of the most physically challenging. Having two children herself, one of which was a high risk pregnancy, has given Marie a comprehensive understanding of the physical and emotional impact pregnancy has on the body before, during and after. Her commitment is to support women to their full potential in a caring and nurturing manner, helping make this important time in their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Marie’s pregnancy massage is tailored to suit the individual needs of the expectant mother, increasing energy, easing muscle aches and pains, slowing down the process of varicose veins, reducing fluid retention with manual lymphatic drainage techniques, releasing stress and relaxing the mind and body.
Her induction massage helps to calm and de-stress, assisting with labour preparation by including assisting with diaphragmatic breathing, gentle stretches, passive movement and appropriate remedial techniques, helping reduce chronic tension and to increase flexibility in the necessary muscle groups and lumber spine to facilitate labour.
Then, her postnatal treatments are specific to issues after birth. Full body sessions of lymphatic drainage and appropriate massage techniques help restore the body to normal functioning by increasing circulation, cleansing metabolic wastes from labour’s exertions and reducing fluid retention. As with all massages, it relieves muscle tension and stress from everyday activities, especially new mothering duties.
Marie’s massage work is inclusive of all people and not restricted to pre and post natal. Her passion is in helping people achieve a greater sense of health and wellbeing and in encouraging the body to be at its optimum condition.

Prices
Marie charges $75 for 45 minutes of any of the above treatments, $95 for 60 minutes and $135 for 90 minutes.
Health rebates are available with most Health Insurance Funds.
