Yep I read about your gran :( how are you dealing with everything??

I'm up to mod 10 but still no pro. I have a long way to go, but I can certainly work my way around the camera thanks to the course.

Here in jersey there is a fb page for mums. The chick who started it is turning it into a website, asked for a photo blogger.... So I volunteered! I thought it would get me out there looking and finding beautiful spots in jersey. My passion is taking pics of kids though, so I'm still struggling to get that done..... Apart from my own kids, which are more happy snaps rather than 'shoots'..... The blog might even enable me to get myself out there and start practicing on strangers kids...... If they contact me of course.

It's pretty rough :( We are very very close. I'm the only grandchild who has been encouraged to go to her, due to our relationship. We've had all 'those' conversations with the hospital, but at the same time she was conscious and responsive for a whole hour today. It's a horrible waiting game at the moment, and it feels weird while other real life stuff carries on at the same time.

You've done so well getting up to mod 10 already! And that photo blog sounds exciting - good on you for volunteering. I'd love to see the link when it's up and running :) Why don't you put the offer out there to a few of the mums you know to photograph their kids, then they'll tell their friends etc etc. I did my friend's newborn, and I'm just waiting for the chance to do another one, and a couple of my other friends have asked me to do their kids after seeing those photos. You could also contact some groups like dance classes, sports clubs etc and see what that leads to. Can you tell I've thought about ways into the market quite a bit?!

Yep, although I'm finished it felt like a chore at times, sometimes I reckon both DH and DS would get annoyed at my need to capture moments with my camera, but DH was also my biggest supporter and very proud when I finished. I found I got more motivated towards the end again, knowing there were only so many photos left so wanting to capture certain shots I had in my mind :)

(and yep, I'm an applause junkie too!!! I put myself on a self imposed facebook ban which lasted a whole 4 days because I was getting less hits on my 365 blog as I wasn't posting the link on FB hahahahahahha)

How is everyone going? Found your groove? lost it? Life got in the way?

I'm a little bit proud of myself at the moment. I've uploaded 300 photos. I have been so behind numerous times with the uploading (I'm still behind now but not by that many days) and could have so given up one or two times but I didn't so a little :leap: from me.

Only 65ish to go. Yay!!

Heres' my upload from today. Not only did I get behind on uploading but somehow didn't manage much of any photos in october. TTC has got me in a bit of a slump :(

Good luck with catching up with your uploading. Once you're behind a heap it's hard to get back into it, well that's what I found a couple of times throughout the year.

Ya I started off as only a month behind, I was too busy doing post trying to get my photos from Abbeyfest ready to submit back. Once I started catching up I realized none of my followers were commenting and thought why bother. I'd quit posting but whatever...might as well keep going *shrug* I'm trying to do at least three a day. And no more than three at a given time so that I hopefully don't spam newsfeeds too much.

well done Neda! I've seen a couple of your shots, need some time to look at more!

Afm - well only a few weeks to go. I'm looking forward to finishing I must admit. Caught up with a mountain of "picture filing" the other week - phew! My folders are now manageable again.

How is everyone else going?

I'm going okay lately actually. I'm actually liking this month cause of Christmas and I've actually got things to take photos of without having to think too much about it and it turns into a chore, if you get what I mean.
Hopefully you're all not getting sick of my christmasy inspired shots. Lol.

I also can't wait to finish it. I'm hoping to have a 365 type project for next year but something different. I dunno.

I got way off course, might start again in the new year ;)
