That's exactly what I did swoop! - then the camera asked me if it could format the card so I said yes and it sat there thinking for 20 minutes and told me the format couldn't happen - but it wont do anything until I format the card?
I'm just going to go and buy a new card today ;-) that way if the other comes good I'll have a spare lol
I'm sure that's why it's happened. I have no idea how to re-format it though... Maybe pop into a camera shop or do a google search as it may be quite self explanatory. Do you have a cable that you can use for future downloads? If not I would definitely invest in one!

I am so inspired and have been using my camera in full manual all day - LOVE it!! I feel like I am now USING my camera :)

I got my new sd card today :dance: but DP left this afternoon and asked in the cutest way if he could take the camera with him on his week long business trip - so I just couldn't say no lol.

NM - that's awesome to be half-way through - big congrats to you! I must say you're showing NO signs of dropping out/losing enthusiasm! In fact I suspect you're even more photo-obsessed than you were tehehe. I think I'm doing the same, I love doing it and think about my shots every day.
Does anyone else feel like they think about their shot more & more each day? I caught myself with 3 prospective "shots" floating around my head the other day lol.
I don't know if I've missed my calling though - I just got a comment on today's pic saying they liked the pic but loved the caption lol. Guess my words better than my image hahaha - i don't think that's usually me tho.

Sometimes I think heaps about my shots and have a few ideas going around my head. Lately though I haven't really had that much thought with my shots. I kinda feel like I'm in a slump. Lol. Idk.
It's a fantastic photo. I wish I could do good ones like that to my cat. She's a little miss and won't stay still. I think you always have awesome captions to your photos too Belfie!!!!!
Belfie - I love blog comments just as much a piccies, I think although a great photo tells a story in itself, I like to ready witty comments, it just adds to the whole enjoyment of blog following hehehehe
Man, I am still super hyped from my course, I am just loving my camera and really enjoying taking photo's again, I have my mojo back and I am excited about each days pic again - todays is here and yesterdays is here
Oh MN, I am soooo jealous of your enthusiasm! i went to pick up my camera for the 5th (yes, you read that right) time today, after the shop called to tell me it's all good, only to get there and find flecks of dust all over the screen. I'm so fed up - the initial problem i took it in with is long fixed, but they have caused two subsequent issues while fixing it. They have quite a good reputation, but really, they are coming across like cowboys.

Cheers re not losing my mojo - you are sweet, but I got into a bit of a rutt and although I was never going to lose interest in my project, now I am just bouncing off the walls so to speak LOL. Doing that workshop was definitely the best $$ I've spent on myself in a long time.

I did a course a while back too, but since ive been over here I haven't had as much time to be uploading and posting the pics I take.... That's the only spot I've lost my mojo!

I want to buy a camera!!! I have my eye on one but have to wait, I've got so much going on this year, I'm back at uni (off to the course advisor today to work out workloads for the rest of the year, including which ones I can do online & which I need to be in a lecture hall for), will be back at work soon, have said yes to do a counselling course (that will take a year and starts mid-year), have a spiritual retreat in Bali towards the end of the year, plus will have to get used to having a full-time DP again. But don't they say that the busiest people get more achieved, so maybe I will get to have my new camera by my birthday.
I'd love to do counseling sopdet.... I've always been the agony aunt of all my friends! What camera are you looking at getting?

It isn't "agony aunt" type counselling, it is a bit more specialised.

Sodpet - I have a 550D and I reckon a card carrying member of the 550D appreciation society :rofl: We actually got ours through Harvey Norman on Interest Free, although we paid a bit more for it, I would have had to wait another year before getting it most likely so it was the way to go here :)
