I just bought a Nikon D7000 with Nikon 18-105 lens and Nikon 28-300 lens as well as an SB700 flash. I got it last week and it is amazing! I have been using my old Nikon D50 since 2005 and I didn't realise how slow it was or how limited the functions were. DH dropped my bigger lens last year and I started shopping for a replacement and one thing led to another and I ended up with a whole new camera :)

I currently have a Nikon D90.
BUT my DH has just surprised me with a new Nikon D700 + 50mm f1.4 lens. SO excited, finally a full frame camera. Picking it up on the w/e!!!!

That's great Heaven. The D700s look nice! I am loving my D7000 and am probably not that great with all the functions to go for a D700 but sounds like a lot of fun.
The D90s are great cameras too from what I have read but the D700 have a heap more focus points (the D7000s do too but less than the D700s) and I am loving the extra focus points.
Enjoy your new camera!

You'll LOVE the D700s Heaven! Pity you'll have to get new lenses for it too ;)

Oh yes *sigh* new lenses, LOL. Well he did get me the new lens to go with it too, it's going to be awesome!! I can't wait!! And I've only had my D90 for a year, lol. But I outgrew it too quickly.

Nice :)
I love my 50mm but because it's D series it's more like a 35mm on the FF. I don't mind that because it's better in tight spaces but it can distort at the edges. I am considering getting the 1.4G but there is other stuff I need before replacing that one

Yeah, that's it, the 1.4G I got.
I have the 35mm 1.8 on my D90 and LOVE it, it never comes off. So I'm sure I will love this one even more!!
