    yeah it is a tricky one. my fave character from six feet under was an arthur...but it can be tricky...

    for example, we are fairly gawky bespectaled folk so i think the name sooo couldnt be carried off by us! LOL!

    i reckon a poll in order ladies!!

    love the name! (is that odd?)

    My dad is named arthur and my brother has it as his middle name!

    So i give it a big thumbs up!

    Not a fan..reminds me of an old man.

    In saying that, DH liked Alfred before we knew DD1 was a girl!

    I voted yes as I think it is adorable. But I wouldn't have it on my list.

    I taught a boy in kindergarten with the name Arthur 2 years ago and he was sucha cutie. I think you may have to wait to see what bubs looks like to see if he suits the name.

    If you like names like that you might also like Alfie or Archie?
