As you guys know, my name is Holly - was born in April, and my name had nothing at all to do with Christmas.
My parents flew to Tasmania for a holiday on a helicopter and my mum was pregnant with me - there was a little girl who was lost before they got on the helicopter, and my parents sat with her while the poice found her parents.. her name was Holly, and my parents loved it when they heard it.
Thats why I'm a Holly.
I can tell you, though - don't let it be an issue when you name your baby - I cop the Christmas jokes ALL the time - it seems they can never get old, even after 31 years
People sing 'The Holly & The Ivy', and say 'Ooh, I bet you were born in December?'... eerr no, actually, Christmas had nothing to do with it
I think people will always think that way regardless.. so if you like May & she's born in May... then call her May I say ;)

Seasonal related names are usually so beautiful. Use them at will - don't stick to strick guidelines about when they are born - use them. hehehehe

Yasin's middle name is Ramadan. He was born on the 10th of Ramadan :P
We had Isha on the middle name list which means night. We scrapped it but if we hadn't I would have used it regardless of when he was born same as I would have used Ramadan if he had been a week early not a week late.
If I love a name then I will use it regardless of what other people might think.
