I would have loved to call one of our girls Bethany but DH will not let me :(, I brought it up both times.
I also love the name Fletcher, but our surname starts with Fle.... :(.
Cloud for a girl. I just love all the different clouds their shapes & colours & the emotions they can evoke. BUT DH doesnt like it even my compromise of Cloudia, so I have a second favourite if we have a girl.
Sadly, little Paige will never be... Damn surname! Both DH and I love the name, but as I pointed out, calling our daughter Paige Reid would be a bit mean, no matter how much of a bookworm she is. It's bad enough we have an "I. Reid" (and possibly another somewhere down the track, Ianto would have been Isabelle if he was a girl. We may still use it.)
^ DD1 is Emily Paige, I wanted DD2 to be Alicia Reide ;) So there's another name I regret not being able to use, DH hated it :(
Ophelia is another name I would have LOVED to use for one of the girls... again, another one DH couldn't stand :(
I loved Oliver and Oscar, and I don't think I'll ever get a Matilda or a Julia...
Sad I will never get to use Isla because it clashes big time with our surname.. If I was french (and probably lived in france!) I would be able to have Ettienne for a boy, but in Australia, this is just not possible!
Feueriosa - a friend of mine has a boy called Ettienne and they live in Australia :D
I had my heart set on Ara Beth for a girl... but Ara is too close to DS' name so I doubt we'd use it even if we had a girl
