Mae VS May

I like Mae better. Only for the fact that I don't like May because it's spelt the way the month of May is. Strange maybe, lol!! I think Mae just seems to look more like a name than the month.

Being that I am a fan of names with the letter y I would spell in may. I also grew uwith a girl who's first name is May, so seems right to me

My name is Lily-Mae and DD is Isla-Mae...so yeah ;)

Mae for me Charlotte :) Mine and DD's middle names are spelt this way so it is sentimental for me but my opinion is that it's a prettier/more feminine way of spelling it also.

But having said that my mother has this middle name but spelt May.

Whatever you guys can negotiate will be perfect :)

DD's middle name is May, it was her great-great-grandmother's name so I didn't consider changing it. That said, I do prefer May ;)

I know 3 little girls with Mae as either first or middle name. I haven't comeacross it spelt may as a name

Another one here who prefers Mae. If I had of had a girl I considered using Mae for its middle name. Spelling it that way for the reasons that have already been mentioned.
