i dont think it would be weird if you all had mae. a friend of mines name is Rosemary and she has 2 daughters Ella-Rose and Scarlett Rose so they have a rose thing and its just beautiful :)

I've heard the French pronunciation too. We'll be pronouncing it Am-eh-lee.
I think Mae is nice. In some Asian culture, the whole generation uses the same middle name. It's traceable which generation you are. Some families do all the children have same middle name instead of the whole generation. Apparently there's a master list somewhere.
