Need honest opinions

im not sure, i dont like it, but i dont hate it, itms?? people will assosiate whatever they feel to his name, no mater what you decide.
if you only think of the movie, maybe sit your dh down to watch it and see his reaction after?
fwiw, we named our 5yo seth, df liked it from the crusty deamons bike rider seth enzlow (sp?) and i was lucky i liked it as a name! i was always asked when he was younger if i liked the oc that much that i would name my child from it... ive never watched that show in my life! so people will always just "assume" what they like.

I thought of Forrest Whitaker, not Forrest Gump until you said it (And I watched it last night lol)

Me too. First thought Whitaker. I like the name, my first thought was its a really strong name that would carry well as an adult. But I do think that kids will do the whole Forrest Gump thing, kids being kids.

And yep, the two Forrest Gump books are awesome :)

I work with a Forrest & he is one of the sweetest, most laid back guys i have ever met. Truly a beautiful old soul!
After the first "oh my, that's an unusual name" it just becomes his name kwim?

At first thought I was like wow that is such a great name and followed by thinking about Forrest Gump only for a moment, the in favor of the name Forrest overode anything else !

I hope you use Forrest, I truly like it !!!!!
