:) I was pronouncing it as 'Marion -ina', but I didn't do a good job of conveying that!

what about Aquarius?
arielle?
We had a little girl called Oceana (pronounced O-she-arna) in DD1's swimming class last year. It was really sweet :)
I'm not sure how to pronounce Nalin- but I think it's an uber-cool name!
From thinkbabynames.com
What do those characters mean? I'd say Na-lin (with the a from apple).:
Nalin \n(a)-lin\ as a boy's name is of Hindi origin, and the meaning of Nalin is "lotus". In Buddhism and the Hindu religion, the lotus, a beautiful flower that flourishes in muddy waters, is symbolic of enlightenment found in difficult situations.
It's fun doing names with you! I loved the help you gave me :D
I enjoy doing names with you too :) I have no idea what the brackets around an 'a' means. I had been extending the 'a' - so, naa-lin (a bit like nar-lin, rhymes with marlin!).
I was saying Nar-lin too. I like it like that too... I think either way sounds nice.
ETA: pronouncenames.com says:
:
Na - rhymes with 'Ma' (as in mom)
Leen - similar to lean as in skinny
Hmmmm I'm not sure but I think o it's pronounced nay-lin
