Crazy out of the box thinking. ..but can you name her officially something random but still just call her billie. Ypu know Spocks real name, she very rarely get it, she gets called lou most of the time which is a fair bit different to her real name.
That doesn't help you when picking a name tho =p
Similar to TT40, I know a girl named N.icole who gets called Lu/Lulu because her middle name is L.ouise.
You can call her what you like really, if Billie is in honour of your Uncle and you really want it, I say do whatever to call her that - officially or as a nickname. That said, I really like the Lillian option.
I should mention that Uncle Bill's name wasn't even Bill or William :lol: His middle name was William, and he started going by Bill because he haaaaaaated his real first name. If anyone ever dared call him that or a derivative of it, they would get the death stare. So of course my dad and their brothers would do it to rule him up :rofl: So it's feasible we could just call her Billie without her name being remotely related. But I'd prefer if it was ;)

This is the same our DS2. He is a Will.iam but we call him L.iam for short. While it's a legit nickname We still get asked if it's one or the other..:
