Thank you!!
What kind of ergo? How old? what condition? And do you still have any verification fo where you bought it from (so you can assure buyers its not a fake)?
:)

I'd ask $50 or less for mine. It has been flogged.

ooh pretty, Chrispe. love the Indigo one.
:D me too. It was the wrap that got me interested in BW.
Lovely!
I'm a bit excited about wearing a new squish again. Particularly since I got my much-wanted Ela, but it's in a 6, which is not my preferred size for DD2. I find myself sticking to my 2 and 4s - hip cross carry or ruck on back. She likes to get down too often for me to mess around with long wraps and she wriggles more if I try a walk with a double hammock. I can't get all rails snug enough for a long walk.
So I'm gazing longingly at my Paisley, Ela and Papillon and looking forward to summer. ;)
Hey mummas.
Just wondering what your thoughts on a Babyhawk Oh Snap are? Going overseas in a few months and I want to wear DS (who will be 14/15 months), but I think the girasol is just going to be too big and awkward to take.
Haven't tried an 'oh snap' yet. I loved the Babyhawk MT though. But then I'm more of a MT girl in general over FB carriers.
I do have a Kinderpack which is absolutely fabulous and I would recommend to anyone.
I ended up purchasing it for an incredibly great price.
Pretty excited, can't wait til its here!
haha! i am popping in here as i just bumped an old thread about a babyhawk lol. I need info as i just bought a basic mei tai secondhand! i am hoping that it will kind of replace my ergo which DD3 absolutely despises :(
Hey ladies. Does anyone here go to the Melb babywearer meets? Or willing to meet me for a private tutorial?! I've loved wearing my two and found it particularly invaluable to wear DS as a baby when juggling toddler DD. the biggest problem I found though, was that he quickly became too heavy to manage on my front - fine for walking, but not so much when playing, washing dishes, leaning...
I'm curious about back-carry from younger but have no idea how and with what. I've managed it with both in the ergo but only once they were 10-12 months and strong enough to kind of hold themselves up as I 'hopped' them around.
Was going to post on the Melb FB page, but a couple of friends still don't know I'm preg (waiting to see them) and don't want it shared on my newsfeed.
I love those skulls. Never thought I would but saw a carrier with them and fell in love. Enjoy!
Love it! Just had a quick go, but heading to town today for appointments so will get to have a good go with it today.
how late did people wear bubs on theor front vs back? I still prefer Spock on my front, just feels more comfortable.
Good question TT40. I'd like to know the answer too. DD is almost 8 months and I still front carry in the Didytai.
I still front carry DD at almost 3 and 15kg! Its lovely cuddle time. But I will put her on my back if I'm pushing the pram but she doesn't stay up for long preferring to run around. I probably carried her regularly until about 18 months on the front.
awesome. I dont feel so weird now. she is 1 and 10kg
I'd love to wear DD on my back, but she doesn't cooperate and I have dinosaur arms :( I'm hoping to learn a ruck, but I've only just started wrapping and I want to master FWCC first.
I have had my girasol wrap for about 2 months now and still haven't mastered it. I haven't dared to try the back carry yet as I couldn't even do it with my ergo the first two babies!
Hoping to get to some of the Brissy baby wearing meets. I went to a couple but they ended up being the times only 2 or so other people went.
I started back carrying DD1 at 6 wks, but our nanny had her in the front in the Ergo until 8 mths. I FWCC pretty consistently until about 6 mths. I think because I got the hang of putting her on my back when she was tiny it wasn't so hard as she got bigger, plus she cooperates and hangs on the right way! But I do know bwing mamas whose babies were older when they started and became pros.
Now she's a toddler I prefer back or hip carries.

I only started 'wrapping' around 4months old. Did FWCC until it was uncomfy (around 6-7 months old I think) now I mostly ruck, but am having to learn double hammock as my 'little' 9 month old is 11kgs & we are needing the multi layer carries for support. :)
Went to town on Friday and the Babyhawk has proved to be an awesome investment.
DH wore DS for a while when I had a haircut.
I was in bed with a migraine on Saturday and woke up to DH wearing DS in the Babyhawk while making the kids a sandwhich.
WIN!
daddy bw is awesome! we haven't had that pleasure yet...
