I think I need the extender strap, the whole thing seems to be sitting up too high??
Have you got the original or Sport version? I'm a 16/18 size and don't need an extender but I have the sport and I think the straps are already longer... Mine's still got plenty over though so I'm not sure it would make a difference.
Does anyone live near you that has one that could show you? Does the DVD not help?
i am 179cm tall and i have the waist strap up above my hips (higher than they say in the instuctions) it fits better there for me. (i'm a 16/18 too and dont need the extender strap either)
but you should have a look at that DVD. :-)
Ugh, perhaps I should've uh, researched this a bit first >.<
There is no adjustment I can figure out to stop the clips of the shoulder straps digging into my arms. It's as if the padded straps are sitting too far apart and need to be closer together behind my back, but again, no adjustment seems to achieve this. It's an unmitaged disaster! Despite everyones' attempts to mitigate it!
edit: I have the standard one, not the sport. When I wear it just as the instructions say, it's not comfortable! :( I wonder if this is a body shape thing, I have enormous boobs. Could that have something to do with it?
Where abouts do you live Neenee? I am sure there is one of us near you that can help. Have you tightened the chest strap to bring the shoulder straps closer together?
It would be very helpful to have someone familiar with the Ergo check you out in person I think.
if you dont have anyone near by to help you out then i suggest you try again when bubs is older and can be snuggled up in it with legs around your waist. you might have more luck with it being more comfortable then.
>.< She usually ends up with her legs around my waist anyway. I know she's a bit young but it always happens and she seems comfy.
I'm in Perth, WA.
So I'm guessing no one else has the problem of the clips being uncomfortable around the arms?
I don't - and I have huge norks too LOL :)
Send LimeSlice a PM, she may be able to have a meet up with you and help you before she moves ;)
I'll send her a PM, though from memory we're miles apart but perhaps we can figure something out!
Where do the back clips sit when you wear your ergo, ladies? It looks like mine is perfectly positioned but it's not comfortable! Or perhaps I'm just being too fussy? And btw norks!
Do you mean the straps dig into the back of your arm, just sort of above the elbow? 'Cause I have that problem as well.
I find it means I haven't got the straps tight enough.
Yes! That's exactly it but even when I tighten them, it still happens. I'll keep fiddling though, perhaps i'm just being a bit nitpicky.
Do you need to tighten the back strap?
