12mth sleep - whats going on?!

STARRY - sounds like jbaby is a good sleeper during the day! and ur right its the same with B the better she sleep during the day the better she will sleep during the night!

blackduckies - thanks for that sleep promotes sleep advice - i wont try and cut her sleep - it does make sense and she does sleep better if she has her naps!
will take on ur advice and go straight to cows milk once the formula is finished! however how does that work when u go out? the milk wont keep well or is that how i should start weening her off her bottles by not taking them with us and just take water instead? my gosh not sure how i will handle cutting back the night time bottle but i guess its gotta be done! Thanks heaps for ur advice and tips!

i wouldnt be giving her milk during the day. There is really no need for it. It wont benifit her in any way. A cheese sandwich will have the same nutritional benifits. There is no way i would give Mia a bottle overnight (unless she was really sick). When she wakes, i fix her up (blanket,teddy etc) and she goes back to sleep. If she wakes again straght away, i always have a bottle of water next to the bed for her, and i give her that and she has a drink and happily goes back to sleep. I think for B, its more of a habit, feeding through the night and its the only thing she knows.

LOL no Holl it didnt sound to stuck up so dont worry about it!
Miss B went awhile there without having a bottle during the night - it has just become a recent thing!
Im going to look at stopping her day bottles also - she dosent ask for them i just give them to her as force of habit i guess! and she drinks it - however never drinks much of it!

have u ever thought.... hay.. shes gonna wake during the night and fuss coz she knows when she does, your gonna get up and get her a bottle? Good idea about the midday one :)

its the only way to settle her - we have let her cry, we have tried resettling, but nothing works except the bottle! and when i say we have let her cry im not talking just for 5mins!
