Awww this thread is making me laugh and almost cry at the same time.. Laugh because I can't believe these things come out of their mouths and cry because I have an 18month old and obviously have all of this to look forward to :o

she is chucking a wobbly majorly these days - at least 3 times a day! Fully stomps her foot and throws anything she can reach onto the floor :( And she only 14 months old!! :(
So glad she cant talk...not looking forward to " you're a poo-poo head" lol

After a lot of "no's" one day to all of Miss 3's ridiculous requests, she must have had enough. She went to her bedroom, picked up her toy phone and made a call asking for a new mummy and daddy to be sent around :rolleyes: Wonder how long it will be before she tried to pack a bag and just leave.

When I told my parents I was running away... I think I was 5 or 6 and my mum came and helped me pack my bag. I walked around the block and then tried to sneak back into my house and hid under a bed for 6 hours!!! I think I had to come out to go to the toilet once and got caught!
It is sooooooooooo good to know I am not the only one with a threenager!!! Dh put her to bed the other night (I so needed a night off from my 3 hourly routine of bed) and she yelled at him "GET OUT DADDY, GET OUUUUUUUUUUUUT..MUMMY COME IN LATER". Then she promptly fell asleep. WHAT THE. She is playing me. And she often talks to us in that manner....
She has the biggest attitude, but Im so glad to know we're not alone! xo
OMG I am so glad to hear these stories, I thought I was just going insane with DD1 but half these stories fit word for word and the other half only need a minor variation. She will throw tantrums at nothing, takes about 3 hrs EVERY night to go to bed, will totally ignore us if we tell her to do something she doesn't want to (or to stop doing something she wants to do). We have been beside ourselves with stress not knowing if it was medical (she has just been diagnosed with epilepsy) or if it was behavioural. Feel much better knowing that she is just a normal "threenager". Thanks.
I'll take a miss on the screechy threenager and take your library!! DP is still under the impression that he won that argument about if we build a house i want a library. Oh how wrong he is. Hee hee
