Oh no Mel... i just poke too soon. DD2 has just started this trick for the past few nights...first one from 11pm til 4am....ouch and the second was 11 til 130am. I dread it lasting any longer. I have been in tears today because now shes only slept 30 minutes and her sister has been having major tantrums. My question to myself atm is....do i really want #3???? Gosh, I am barely coping now!

If it makes you feel better - Miss M only slept for 50 minutes today because the cat jumped into her cot and woke her up - and Aricyn has been terrorising her all day, pushed her off the couch and everything - so its NOT been a good day here - lots of tears!
No advice, but BIG :hug:. I have only just started getting any decent sleep here in the past few weeks and that's pretty hit and miss. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you hun...:crossfingers:
Oh Mel crap day here too on the sleeping front so I hear you on being tired. I've got everything crossed you have a better night tonight and little Miss M sleeps better too. If only they knew it was better for them too. I'll cross my fingers for you (and me too).

You sound like you are doing a great job in a stressful (or maybe tiring!) situation. Have you tried ear plugs, given her noises are mostly happy and/or you are trying to ignore her anyway? Might give you/DH a little relief.
Have you tried letting her stay up for an extra hour or two? I know it cuts into your time a bit, and pulls them out of routine, but with both of mine at some stage I resorted to that - just letting them stay up for a bit longer and tire themselves out. Eventually not all that long after they started going down and staying down earlier. Depends how you feel about routine, I guess...we were pretty laxed with both of ours so far.
How'd you go last night?
We don't really have a "routine" as such - if she doesn't fall asleep on the bottle at 7, then she goes to bed around 8.30. I don't think she should be kept up for another hour, simply because she wouldn't be having enough sleep. Plus, she is more than ready to go to bed at 8.30 cos she's all grizzly!:
Liviam (weird calling you that!) - she woke up a couple of times last night (from memory) but DH settled her pretty easily. Still a crappy nights sleep - for some reason I had a panic attack at around midnight - most bizarre!!! Dunno why - wasn't thinking of anything in particular and on it came!
