Just to answer your question, she is only days old :)
Thanks hestia :)
Yup she is 3 days old .. We have the other wraps and are trying them all to see what works .. Last night was a trial of the dream swaddle , which seemed fine except that she doesn't lay on her back she falls to one side , not all the way on her side though itms?
Just wondering If this is normal and safe ?
It sound like she may be a but curved from growing inside you. My DD was quite curved with her head to one side until I took her to an osteopath who specializes in babies. She's all good now.
Your DD is too young to roll so she 'should' be fine. Is she in a cot, hammock, your bed or a bassinet?
Eta- congratulations :-)
Oh ok ,never heard of that ha :)
I might get the health nurse to have a looksie . With my DD1 we always just wrapped her so she always was straight on her back , but this time thought would try a few things to see what DD2 likes best .. I ended up just wrapping her last night as I was a bit worried about the laying to the side , I mean she isn't right on her side and it looks like her arm would stop her going right over but just to save me worrying :)
And thankyou :) x
I'd get her checked out. When you are holding her does she favour one side at all? She holds her head up nice and straight and looks both ways? My boy had torticollis from his position in my tummy and Plagiocephaly. Osteo is fantastic.
