Glad I seen this girls, I've been thinking about this a lot lately and after seeing your experiences, I think we're going to leave our DD in her cot for now. She's a great sleeper, has never once even attempted to get out of her cot (I really don't think the thought has occurred to her?) so why rock the boat??
Her cot also converts to a junior bed so I might wait another 6 months then take the sides off.
She is 2 in January and I think I'll give her a pillow and doona then (although she won't need the doona in summer).
