the paper and the vaccum cleaner, only when Dh uses it though, he follows him all over the house trying to catch it, but screams when I use it.
Haha Claire is the same with the vacuum here
at the moment its any necklaces/bangles, and any "tube" of something, toothpaste, pawpaw, sunscreen etc :)
I have a pair of stripy rainbow undies, and every time dd sees them in the clean washing out they come and on they go. she tucks them into her waitband - very funny (although the grandparents were around yesterday, don't know what they made of it).
Oh, and we have some of those rubber oven mits - hours of entertainment right there.
My DD loves anything she can smoother on herself as cream. Weather it be yoghurt, water, my makeup anything she can get her hands on she has to rub into her arms and legs etc.
at the moment its;;
remotes
batteries
dads shoes (any of them)
dvds and the covers
the keyboard (not her one but the one mummy and daddy uses)
toilet paper
mobile phones!!
pulling the door stoppers off..
she has so many toys and these are what she goes for!!
DVD's make good building blocks apparently, also peg bucket, the decorating stones on top of out door Yukka's pot, all of my washing and the clothes dryer ie, all of my washing goes in the clothes dryer!! including some of her toys and any shoes she can find, anything in the kitchen she can reach,
most definately anything that belongs to our dog Shep especially his bed (eeeggghhh) and doubly especially if he wants it first!!!
They all just love other things huh!!
Oskar likes the broken playstation controller... Maybe cos Joshua sits him on his lap when he's playing?? Also likes empty cup type containers from his fruit and plastic bowls which came in one of my crisco hampers...lol.
DD#2 always finds the metal clasp on her bouncer and tries to eat it! I've moved the bouncer and she stills gravitates towards it .............. past her own personal toy shop scattered across her play rug :p Oh and DD#1 has all these fandankled toys and dolls etc but her favourite thing is "typing emails" on an old computer keyboard (she "plugs" the lead in between the lounge cushions so the "computer works", lol!)
oh oh just thought of something else!!!
when i put make up on (eyeshadow & mascara) she likes to scrape the eyeshadow out of the little squares with the brush... i know i shouldnt let he play with it, i have learnt my lesson now!
also, she puts my mascara up to her eyebrows and says 'oohhhh pitty kissal' lol so cute (the lid is hard to take off, so i dont mind her doing this!)
she does all kinds of things that are 'pitty Kissal'!!
its amazing how quick they pick up on how things are used isnt it!
i also have 4 beaded necklaces... when they catch her eye, she has to wear all four at once
Claire also loves playing with DVDs and videos. She has worked out how to open the TV cabinet and loves taking all the video/DVD's out and just scattering them on the floor. Then she will walk them along the carpet - she put her hands on the box, and her bum in the air and walks the box. She reckons its very funny.
And the bin. I dont know wht is so attractive about the bin but I am constantly hving to move the bin, or tell her it yukky and dont touch.. but for some reason she just keeps going back to it.
My DDs (the 2 and 4 year old) LOVE to play with bubbles from the sink when I am doing dishes. They clap them together, spread them all over the floor, make "beards" and "hair" with them. It's the greatest toy ever for them. :)
The other thing that they both love is to take a cup of water and a paintbrush and "paint" anything and everything in the house. It's all pretty harmless 'cause there's only a tiny bit of water in the cup, and they have lots of fun painting on the table, chairs, wall, etc.
DD is always trying to put her DVDs in to the Austar box saying "goog- gools" for those who need interpretation "The Wiggles"
Love it! lol!
DD loves her nappy bag, she sits there and unpacks it and pulls it completely apart. Keeps her entertained for hours!
Having said that...she loves getting into everything she isn't supposed to. For example, I just finished tidying the study yesterday for FILs arrival tomorrow, I have just finished watching DD pull it apart and make it look worse than it did originally! Whatever keeps them entertained (I too ask myself why we have so many toys when she doesn't use them!).
Now its a box of Huggies - each time a new bag is opened its a test to see how soon he can manage to get all the nappies out and spread them about his room. I try to get him to help pile them back into the box, but thats not as much fun as pulling them out
