DS was 4 years 2 months old when DD was born. It worked really well with us, I felt we had gotten plenty of one on one time with DS and were ready to introduce another one.
He was going to daycare 2 days a week so thats when I caught up on sleep if I needed. At 4 he was still going for a nap every other day.
I wanted DD and #3 to be closer but it hasn't worked out that way, which isn't a big deal both kids will be off at school so if we're lucky enough to have a 3rd I'll have plenty of one on one time again and time to rest.
