Hi Girls.

Sorry I have been busy & didn't get on BB yesterday. I did speak to Cheryl yesterday & things are still ok. Nothing drastic happening. V is still on the same machine. They didn't do any x rays yesterday morning so we knew nothing further.

If I don't talk to Cheryl today, it will definately be tomorrow so i'll let you all know how she's coming along.

GREAT NEWS! Olivia is out of the ICN. Yay! She's in the ward now. They are talking about moving her back to their local hospital. Though poor Cheryl had to put up with other babies sharing V's room that had been coughing & spluttering about. Grrrr.... Wouldn't you be annoyed! She's been able to hold & cuddle V now. The whole time we were on the phone you could hear Olivia whimpering in the background. So cute.

Unfortunately V has lost 500g. She's now 4.8kgs. I could just imagine how weak she must be feeling. They've just put her up to 30mls of formula an hour.

So, she is on the mend & should just continue to improve from here. There's no doubt she's a fighter.

I'm sure all your prayers & get well vibes have contributed to Olivia getting better. Thank you all.

I'll continue to keep you updated right up until little V gets home.

Yay, it looks as though the worst is over now, hopefully she will be home soon.

Cheryl has called to say she will be on the channel 9 news tonight at 6.30pm (Sydney). They were at the hospital & are doing a story on the Swine flu & asked her to share her story. Unfortunately I'm on the Gold Coast so not sure if I'll get it up here.

Olivia has now been transferred back to her home hospital, which is a great sign of her improvement.

She also got to meet some Sailors today! They were visiting the patients at the hospital.

Great to hear V is getting better!

Such great news! I hope Olivia continues to recover quickly, Cheryl and that the remainder of her stay in hospital goes as quickly as possible and that you can celebrate having her home really soon.
