We got a love n care carrier from babies r us when ds started doing that. It was on special for $39, all the other ones were $100 plus, I like the lookof the soft material ones but apparently you shouldn't have a really young baby in them, SIDS recommended.....

Soft material ones are perfect for newborns as they support the head and neck better. I've never heard anything about a sids risk?
