Amber, I can kind of relate to what you're feeling. I say 'kind of' since DS is only 7mths old so he's not at the crawling on me stage, but I've been in my house for 4wks and still have about 10 boxes to unpack, pictures to hang, just basic normal life stuff to do that I can't get done unless I resign myself to literally no 'me' time at all.
For what it's worth though, DS IS only 7mths old, very portable (albeit with 4 bloody bags full of gear) and will fall asleep anywhere, anytime. Probably the only perk of having a baby who spent the first 6wks of his life in the hospital - he can adjust to anything.
AND...I live in NW Melb. If you ever want a break and can deal with placing your son's life in the hands of an Internet buddy, and a crazy Canadian one to boot, I'm here and more than willing to take over for a night, or a weekend even, to give you a break. And I'm serious about this offer. I wouldn't make it - in writing even!!! - if I wasn't.
I hope tomorrow's a better day Sweetpea!!

I can relate to everyword in your OP.
Sometimes (alot of the time) it feels like the only thing you ever do is look after everybody else. The cleaning never ends and there is never anytime for yourself.
I get a bit of a reprieve by going to work 3 days a week, but then find i come home and everything is waiting for me and I havnt even thought about dinner yet :wall:
Its damn hard being a woman in todays world...and i blame those womens libbers who fought for the right to go into the work force and earn their own living. That was a good idea wasnt it! Now i have all the housework and the kids PLUS i'm expected to work on top of it all. :wall:
Im sorry, this is your rant... i completely understand your pain.
i felt that today i was going to get a break but that fell through and i was so upset hopefully i get it 2moro xoxoxox
