Little Phe has had a sinusy blockage breathing rattle for some weeks now. I put it down to her inability to clear it compounded by the cooler weather we have had since cup day. Although now its been like that for a couple of weeks and more recently - when it warmed up - its become runny as well.
I have checked for the usual suspects. She has normal temperature, is perfectly happy despite it, hears fine from both ears - little bit waxy thought, and has no bumps in her gums although she is chewing on everything in sight.
I can only figure that one of them is lying to me. Thermometers don't lie so its either the waxy ears or she is in some way teething. Again, the temperament doesnt help there because my bubs were always really grumpy with teething and I would expect screaming with some from of ear infection - I know I did. And at 4 months teething is a long shot.
What other possibilities am I not seeing? Her dad has history of sinusitis and I suffer Hayfever - but she isnt sneezing and no runny eyes. No cough either.
Could this really be nothing?
Anyone got 2 bobs worth they can throw in. It just seems like it would be a complete waste of a doctors time to take her in for being snuffly and her nose running for a couple of days when there is nothing else pointing to any real problem. I would just like to work out why so I can make it easier for her to feed.
